I mean, knowing that thousands of people saw that view before they died tragic deaths by fire, smoke, crushing, or falling…no, I couldn’t work there, as lovely as it is. It wasnt like just watching videos online, we saw it live the morning of, we knew people who died. I've been to that building, and Im telling you, it still feels like death. I could feel the dead screaming there. there's very very bad energy in that place. I could never go back.

Although WTC1 is a beautiful building, it is not the Twin Towers. I understand the respect we must give to the victims and their families, but boy do I miss those buildings and wish they would have rebuilt them with better escape routes and building codes.

The One I'm pretty sure companies would have left the office units after the 2008 financial crisis hit. The vacant spaces would've probably stayed abandoned since lack of funds would've made it impossible to renovate the rooms. The US knew those towers were obsolete and weren't going to be of much use for any much longer so they just blew them away. It was all planned and wanted. 9/11 was the end of the 20th Century.

The original World Trade Center actually meant the international trade that goes on in the world being housed in those two towers One and Two as a premiere business hub. Top to bottom windows means very little protection should anything ever happen again.

The super thick concrete core that can withstand a LOT more force than the old buildings, as well as the bottom concrete shell, are all protecting this building. The glass hides all that. No one would work in a building that looks like a bunker

It's been opened for 7 years and not made a profit it might look big but the Old twin towers were 110 floors, if I remember correctly and about 102 were office spaces the rest mechanical floors. The new one is like 40 mechanical floors and about 60 offices 😂😂 no wonder they ain't making a profit even though about 95% of office floors is full. No reason for another just because of previous building before it.

JP Summers Nope, back in the day its engineers *never* envisioned an event like 9/11 that would happen. So when they created the Floor Truss System that connected the outer columns with the core columns of each tower, they knew it was very strong and light, but also that it was vulnerable of exposure to high temperatures and did *not* expect that this would be a major issue as it would be on 9/11 eventually. Another issue was that their core columns and the area where the arteries of the Twin Towers were located were *not* protected by a reinforced concrete wall to protect them. This is exactly why the 3 stairways were damaged beyond repair on 9/11 and leaving the people stuck above the impact zones being unable to get down as a consequence. Meaning that for New Twin Towers these changes could have easily been implemented and made into a reality because most people wanted them back and still do today. All modern technology would be used. The only reason it didn't happen is because of political hacks and greedy businessmen hijacking the 16 acre site and turn it into a national disgrace by overwhelming costs, delays, pay-to-play schemes you name it. You should watch the episode Ground Zero of the Penn & Teller Bullsh*t! show where they explain everything.

They had enough windows last time to see it coming. Someone in the south tower saw the commercial jet hit a few floors above then. A documentary made in 2002 has firefighters saying they never want to go back to the WTC if it was rebuilt.

The twin towers were just better in alot of ways they had places that people could meet up chat dine and enjoy views on different floors I mean even one had a movie theater 2 observation areas another had a restaurant I mean they were built for the people to enjoy and be included the offices were amazing and the design was great tue feeding tower focused more on offices and less on the people, but I digress the freedom tower does have some better areas like way more space along with a larger lobby and a huge restaurant

The design and engineering involved in creating the original Towers was way ahead of it's time and all the work payed off. We were given the gift of those structures, and were made proud. Even though they incurred catastrophic damage, they remained standing for enough time to allow some people to escape.
