This is the best episode ever! Just give them ALL THE AWARDS!! Some things I got from this episode-Michonne studied Computer Science, (could come in handy). Could the briefing include info on the Commonwealth. The CRM is always on the lookout for communities they consider a threat or a resource. They destroyed Omaha, and the Campus Colony in The World Beyond which only had 9,000 inhabitants. Imagine if they find one like The Commonwealth with over 20,000, plus all their resources. Rick thinks he’s alone in following Okafore’s plan now, but Okafore had said there were others. We know that General Kublek is imprisoned for going against them. So they could have more allies that want to change the CRM than they know about.

I think you talked the perfect amount. Danai did a wonderful job on this episode writing and acting. I think you’re right about people’s mindset men vs women. I find myself aligning more with Michonne usually. Also I’m glad they addressed how Michonne feels, having left the children. Great reaction.

Jadis is such a good liar its hard to tell if she actually has evidence hidden. But then again she also doesn't leave anything up for chance so she will most likely go after Rick and Michonne on her own.

Pilot could have crashed by being distracted by them jumping out the helicopter. He or the co-pilot could have radio in what happened before the crash. Either way Jadis will not believe they died in the crash. I do believe she left info on Rick.

To your question at 9:35. Why would they want to stay and bring their children to a literal open prison ? They can never leave and become part of an oppressive system.
@shawnneurohr61989 ай бұрын
It’s really only oppressive for people like Rick that have a whole community outside of it. For normal survivors it’s heaven. Didn’t you see the fair that michonne was at ? Or how happy the guy Rick was friends with was to get promoted to a better job and getting air conditioning. People walking their dogs and children playing. A system in which you can be promoted to better position. Rick tried to escape several times and he was still living in a nice apartment. This would be a survivors heaven after years of being on the road surrounded by zombies.
@dylanburton49559 ай бұрын
@@shawnneurohr6198They’re still super oppressive, they’re like any classic villain organisation Those are only happy there because they don’t know the full truth
@WhatsTeeWatchin9 ай бұрын
Yeaa I totally get that!!
@M.Hiro799 ай бұрын
@@shawnneurohr6198 That is exactly why I am referencing Richonne and their family and not everyone. For those lost(the Bs) it is of course a safe haven, Chloe said so to Michonne at the gate, but for those who had something or were doing okay it is a prison.

Totally with you on observed male/female differences. I'd like to add the Male reactions I've seen seem less open to this deep psychological dive. They want action, not mostly one room important emotional work.

I don't know if Jadis has a file or if shes lying. I don't think Rick and Michonne can risk it by calling her bluff. They have to go back and find the file, if there is one, and destroy it without getting caught.
@bigrob19879 ай бұрын
This was a great episode. Danai and Andy acting in this episode was phenomenal. I completely understand both sides. Like I understand Rick fear of the CRM because he nor Michonne never faced a group like the CRM and on top of that the fear of them attacking Alexanderia would make anyway be scared. Especially when the home is where your kids is at. I understand Michonne frustration on leaving the kids to losing friends on the way to find Rick but he refused to leave. But at the same time seeing Rick broken mentally and physically like this remind us we haven't seen Rick in years so we don't know everything that he been through except what was presented to us in episode 1. I like that Michonne told him about RJ and him mentioning Carl made me feel bad for Rick. But anyway I hope you have a lovely day. Stay safe, take care and stay amazing Tynia.

I loved this episode. I was so glad to see a woman react to this. No, I think Jadis is bluffing about having info about them stashed. I feel like if she did there wouldn’t be any reason to go after them. I noticed the very last song of the episode was in French. I wonder if they are going to tie this to Daryl’s show

Ohh I just thought... Did Thorn let Rick and Michonne ride in the helicopter together and without her? How many helicopters left the place? Shouldn't she have died in that same helicopter? Realistically, ain't no way she let them all go separate.
@WhatsTeeWatchin9 ай бұрын
I don’t think she was thinking that deep because she feels as though she can trust Rick. So them two on a helicopter together probably didn’t register to her
@jay5xx9 ай бұрын
She said in episode 3 that she was mad at them both and told him to take her back because she didn't wanna see her so it makes sense it was in the heat of the moment
