I'm not suggesting that you should by any means, I have everything that's mentioned in the video myself, but it's proof that you don't even need that much. Anybody agree?

@begins13135 жыл бұрын
From experience, the phone recording is only going to help if you can bring it into a DAW and mix/master it. I've done clear recordings on a phone but a microphone with a larger frequency pick up range will amplify the vocals more. Build the studio he's talking about if you're trying to be cheap.
@vortext.v4824 жыл бұрын
I got a 80$ mic. 20$stand. 500$laptop. 200$desk. 250$ monitor. 100$ KRK headphones. 100$ focusrite solo gen 3 and I got ableton live lite with it... right now Im working on getting a tower computer, i7 quad core with 16 gig ram and I think it said I can upgrade to 32 if I need to, also bout to get speakers on stands for 150$ and a mini lab midi keyboard for 100$... I slowed down hella on working on my lyricism so I can focus on my beat production, still working on it, kinda hard being limited to 8 tracks till I can get standard or suite for ableton, but that’s 500-800$ so that’s a while away. My main focus rn is audio mixing and recording. But I live rn in a rental house so I can’t really pin things on The wall and it’s a bunch of wood Floors so it’s hard to find a way to find a way to keep acoustic treatment good.

Thank you. I used to have the whole set up years ago with the sound card, port plug in, mixer etc. This makes it so easy to start back up again just to lay vocals over some instrumentals with some software like adobe audition. I just ordered a whole mic set up and some studio headphones from amazon like $100 I already have a mac book to record on prob gonna switch to pc when it's time to take it up a notch for music and video editing. I'll upgrade as needed. Great advice!

Pawn shops will be your best friend if you're starting and don't wanna dive into your shallow pockets. I found an audio interface and a AT2035 microphone for just under 200. They had headphones, sound monitors, amps, mini keyboards (for the beatmaker in you), EVERYTHING. Just shop around and call to see what type of merchandise they mainly carry. Some pawns mainly have guns and jewelry and others have all sorts of shit. You can even get a damn computer from there too. The only thing I'd get brand new, if you just HAVE to have it new, is the mic.

I honestly think all mics need a pop filter included. If you cannot get one and need one ASAP... Use some socks. I get three clean socks and test with one and keep adding. I never do more than three but you can test what works. It works great and you already have em, I'd assume. Great info. I'ma need them blankets.
