can we get Tengoku Daimakyou (Heavenly Delusion) into the anime of the year nominees it really does deserves the top imo. i dont think seen world building this thorough, this year. with so many little details making more and more sense in retrospect with each new episode

@@AnnuSensei No. Just NO. Apothecary Diaries is gorgeous art wise, but animation goes 100% to JJK season 2. Mappa animators are literally working themselves to death just to make JJK look as good as possible animation wise. I would agree if you had given Apothecary Diaries best art direction, but in no way does it deserve best animation. Do you even know how hard it is to make the fight scenes to look even close to as good as the ones in JJK season 2 so far??? Just take a look at Sukuna vs Mahoraga, Sukuna vs Jogo and the most recent Itadori Yuji & Todo VS Mahito. There is no way JJK doesn't take the win in animation like wtf???

Tengoku Daimakyo was underrated? I've only ever heard high praise for it. It was under-promoted by Disney and Hulu, but not underrated by the people who watched it.

I just voted and the nominations sucked. Bocchi the rock was on too many categories and it was the 2022-2023 anime. From January 2023.. The problem is the nominations are all put by staff members. I've paid attention ot the top anime listings of each sesson amongst both English and Japanes viewers by ranking. ANd in terms of Ranking amongst the English community, barely any of the anime that were ranking the tops for each season made it for new anime, original anime and best score. I understand Jujutsu Kaizen, One Piece and Attack on Titan would make it for action anime, best continuing anime, ect. But the only title I saw that was in the actual voting list of new stuff was Oshi no Ko. What a joke. I didn't see Isekai Ojisan, Nier Automata ver 1.01a, The Dangers in My heart, Dark Gathering, Beast Princess, or Eminence in Shadow. I understand why Frieren and Apothocary Diaries didn't make it. But seriously the only show that made it that was actually part of the season by season polls of popularity for new stuff was Oshi no Ko.

When it comes to best animation I think you are confusing art with animation. Because JJK was a clear winner of that one.
