Such a great overview, I've had my eyes on this one! Also like the wireless capabilities and the reminder things like that even exist since for the workhouse cameras I would neeeeeevvvvvver bother, however pair with film recipes, JPEG, and shooting for enjoyment, yeah why not!

same situation as you- i was looking for the V, and actually as the VI came released so i was expecting the V’s price to go down… nope. so i bought the F and it’s been fantastic. for me, im coming from film and im too used to manual focus. here’s something that i found was fun for me and it might work for you too, since you can’t stand the full auto, and i can’t stand auto in general. try using spot focusing by targeting where you want the focus to be first predicting where the subject will land or cross, and then compose your shot, and as the subject comes into frame fire at will. use back button to lock focus, or if you have a thumb grip like me, set the front button to lock focus. another little tip, once the focus is locked, you can now use the ring to adjust it. unlock the focus to continue using the ring for digital converter
