Riley answered that MES vs ES question in another video; think it was in his Futures intro series. He uses MES because it gives him easier, more accurate access in setting up a trade entry to partial contracts rather than full contract size.

Hi Riley thank you for the great content. How many data days you load in your chart? I think Ninjatrader is loading 5 days by default, but when I change it to 10 days for example, the candle's type changes, i.e a bullish candle becomes bearish or a dojo and vice versa. That is weird and that will definitely change the way we trade by changing the "days to load". thank you

Definitely don't be married to the color of the candle too with these patterns. Bullish or bearish can be helpful information, but a green close can be a part of a bearish candle pattern and vice versa
