A car is a car, you know? I used to be sentimental with cars. But nowadays I know you can always find another like it. I'd take all the mods that would fit on the hr off the rev up, put them on the hr, and sell the rev up.

6:50 rev hang I think maybe your HR flywheel is lightweight not sure what you have on ur rev up. I went to weighted 26lb jwt Jim wolf flywheel; kills the flywheel chatter at idle and it drives like stock. More “rev hang” between shifts, versus my old lightweight flywheel

Sure, a GT-R episode would be cool as would other interesting cars. Anything but huge pickup trucks, some of those things cost even more than a GT-R. As for wildfires, dark smoke indicates that structures are burning. A forest fire with no structures gives off white or light gray smoke. You may think I'm crazy for admitting this but my dream car is a Z32 (1990-95) 300ZX, especially a twin turbo though the one I used to have was na and that would be ok too. I love my 350Z HR roadster but it has turned out to be impractical as a daily driver. Another ZX like I used to have would work so much better - the T-roof, the roomy hatchback area, the excellent visibility. Sigh . If anyone out there has one and would consider trading it for the HR let me know. I'm not in a big hurry but I've been considering things that would make my life easier.

you could always just rent a GTR for a day, it's like 250-300$ depeding on where you go, so expensive for sure, but if you just want to get a review out that's the easiest and least restrictive way, it'd be tough for someone with a car like that to just let it go even if they trust you.

Yes, but unfortunately logic rarely plays a role in sentimental value. Logic dictates that I should sell my 350Z to pay off the last of my R8 loan as I barely drive her any more, but when I do all the love for the car (how she drives and what I've done to her) comes flooding back. I've been putting off selling her when I know I really should.

Don't know what the price difference between the GTR and the R8 is over your side but in the UK, they are about the same price. I was in this dilemma just over 18 months ago. Own a 350Z HR, shortlisted 5 potentials down to a GTR vs R8 and it was the looks and especially the manual trans that swayed me to the R8. GTR or otherwise I want you to get what makes you the happiest. An enthused creator makes the best content, but if it's a manual that you want, then barring the Gallardo (basically Lambo skinned R8), the Audi R8 is the pinnacle. AND imo it's actually easier to daily drive than the 350Z, the clutch pedal is so much lighter and has much more modulation.

Older R8s are cheaper and imo look better than the newer models just has that icon silhouette idk I could see arguments for either tbh but its definitely one of the best cars in that 30k price range my pick is a BMW i8 cause it just looks flex lol

As a owner of a DE vs HR HR for the win sounds better looks better with the classic hood hump on the HR So you know my DE has a custom turbo Still HR is better Definitely GTR is the way to go I’ve driven the GTR at track school It’s insane
