Nice video, I find American Buttercream too sweet for my taste these days, for chocolate I go with Claire Saffitz's take on a German Buttercream in her "only chocolate cake recipe you will ever need" video. I'm experimenting with Ermine Frosting at the moment too, American is reserved for quick and easy where I won't be eating too much of it myself :)

@badgerfool1980, thank you for your response! Keep in mind with this buttercream frosting you can use less sugar also. Some of my customers use my "less sweet frosting" in which I only put in 1 cup of powdered sugar and a dash of salt to offset the sweetness. I offer low sweet, mildly sweet and super sweet frosting.
