Before this trip I had little confidence in lures with a Red or Pink coloured belly for targeting Bass but after a flurry of action on them during this tough session its now safe to say that I'll be a lot happier clipping on a "Red Belly" lure from now on.

Would love to be able to say but it's hard enough to find decent places, put in many blank sessions over several years along the way to working out some of these spots. Most spots will produce Bass at some time it's often a case of just figuring out the best time of day and tide etc for getting the best out of each spot.

You look to be right handed why do you persist in using a reel with right hand wind? It is illogical you are constantly changing hand when casting and when playing a fish, surely it makes more sense to cast with your strong arm and then play any fish with your strong arm? Other than that thanks for the video excellent. For any sake buy your self a left hand wind reel LOL.

I've had a load of comments stating how I seem to have my reel handle on the wrong side and that I cast strange ect and I totally understand what you're all getting at, in fact I'm kind of honoured by all the people that seem to notice and then actually take the time to mention it 😂 In reality I guess you don't get any extra points for style (or any extra fish for that matter) I'm merely doing it the way that feels the most comfortable to me, after 35 years of fishing your going to be hard pushed to break any of my bad habits 😂👍
@johnpantling9284
@johnpantling9284 3 жыл бұрын
@@saltwaterjunky607 Yes when you get a habit is sticks. I am not, and nobody is, perfect but I strangely hate wasted effort. As I say you would be able to control your lure that much more deftly with your good hand and then play that strong fish with your good arm and leave the mundane winding to the left. But hey! You are reeling plenty of them in and the fish don't know so does it matter ? Take care bud and all the best.
