Awesome session. You're right about lucking on to them. Sometimes everything comes together. It's happened twice to me in the 3 and half years I've been fishing for bass. I live for those days. Great work again mate. Tight lines.
@FISHINGWITHCAL9 ай бұрын
Yeah sometimes there can be great days when you catch a lot but they tend to be small. It’s still great fun but other sessions when you’ve caught less but they’re a better stamp of fish can stand out more then these kind of sessions. Either way, it’s all great fun isn’t it. The tug is the drug as they say 🎣

Love your bass fishing videos. I sea fish on the West Coast of Scotland and bass don’t really get this far but we have plenty of big pollack. Do you want to Pollack fish as much as I want to Bass fish I wonder ? The great thing is though that everyone enjoys mackerel fishing. Mackerel are just the best.

What a great session as usual as far as i know bass are colour blind ya just need a bright lure n a dark lure for bass colour dont matter accordung to some anglers now me personally i wouldnt have a clue theres a few videos ive watched on it doh i found very interesting love ur channel by the way always look forward to ur videos tightlines
@FISHINGWITHCAL9 ай бұрын
Yeah I’ve heard a few people say that too. Personally, I don’t think they’re completely colour blind. I do think they don’t see colours the way we do for sure. I believe it has a lot to do with the light you’re fishing in. In very bright skies, a bright lure will work really well. Darker lures always work well in decreased light and also at night on a full moon. There are rough guidelines for sure but tbh, it can just depend on what they want at that particular time.

Hopefully i will have a session like this this year in France, untill then I stick to Your Videos for pleasure and learning, maybe I will ask some questions for my preparation. Which stage of the tide and which depth were You fishing? Do you have any recommendations for fishing in an area with strong tidal currents( where a big estuarie is pouring in the sea)? Thanks in advance Tight lines Tight
@FISHINGWITHCAL9 ай бұрын
I hope you get to enjoy some great sessions over in France too mate. I’m not going to state the actual tide I was fishing sorry. The depth ranges from a few feet to well above head. I fish areas with strong tidal currents often. I usually fish just out the tide where the fish are most likely to be hovering around waiting for something to get flushed out. Sometimes they’ll be right in the strongest point though so I’ll use a heavier lure and let the tide do most the work if that’s the case. Thanks 👍🏼
@heinrichrutten21589 ай бұрын
@@FISHINGWITHCAL thanks for Your answers. With the actual tide, No apologies needed, I understand that because No one Likes " Spotgeier"
