@@glenanleitner2606 as a matter of fact, I believe the rabbi's position on that is that everyone is created where they're meant to be to effect THEIR part of God's master plan. That nobody needs to convert or anything like that, just relate to God that way you ought to and that's called doing your part in the greater scheme of things! :)

This was so beautiful! It really makes life easier. When Rabbi said G-d has Shabbos by himself, it made me think of my parents eating alone w/out us, and it made me sad. Shabbos isn't missing, its His children. Problems aren't "ours", we're not there alone. If it warms my heart when my kid runs back to the door to kiss the mezuzah when he forgets, I can just imagine how a daily hello to HaShem from His children warns His heart.🥰

The rabbi once told me that someone who is not Jewish is allowed to honor the shabbat, but not allowed to actually KEEP the shabbat. Honoring it can be done by doing something special in its honor, but without refraining from labor. He said because as humans, our job is to work this world and to perfect it, and the only excuse we have to stop doing that for a full day is if God Himself commanded us to do so. And since the laws of shabbat apply only to Jewish people, the people who were commanded at Sinai, all other people must continue to have their positive effects on the world in their way. Did I do that justice? I'm not quite as articulate as the great rabbi 🤗

When you said that people should turn in their guns, visions of Hitler, Stalin(and all the other communist/fascist dictators) and the Warsaw Ghetto uprising came to mind right away. So my answer is NO. What we need is to follow the US constitution to the letter. Jews didn't call this country the "Goldene Medina" for nothing.

@@freelyb ok, so again, if you'd watch the rabbi's video you would see that we misuse and misunderstand the word "need." Human need is a handicap, God's need is an essential, eternal, undeniable must that the world can fulfill. He's not "missing" something, or unable to have something without us, but He has an essential need that is the equivalent of the "grand master plan."
