Great video. What kind of flashing did you find that was paintable?
@Grazing-M-Acres11 ай бұрын
It's rubber window/door flashing, I don't know what brand it was.

Did you just glue the bottom on?
@nathano79428 ай бұрын
I ended up just getting an old inner tube and cutting it to fit. Then I used contact cement to glue it on.
@Grazing-M-Acres8 ай бұрын
@kimberlyfaucett8579 I used wood glue to help seal the seam but then screwed it together

Looks good. This took more than one sheet of plywood, correct?
@Grazing-M-Acres Жыл бұрын
Thanks, it took just another small piece. If you down sized it just a little it would fit on one

Excellent pig feeder! Would you happen to have the drawings for it that you could share?
@Grazing-M-Acres Жыл бұрын
Thank you! So I don't have a drawing for it, I just sketched it out on the plywood. Rough dimensions are 24 inches wide about 18" deep at the feed lid, 12" deep at the upper section, and about 48' tall.

how has this held up to 2 years of use?
@Grazing-M-Acres8 ай бұрын
I replaced the feeding lid just cause it started looking bad, they would chew and scratch on the corners. Thats all that ive done to it so far. if I were to wash it, it would look brand new.

Are they raking the feed out on the ground?
@Grazing-M-Acres2 жыл бұрын
Sometimes they will rake a little out when they are both eating at the same time. I would say only about 1% - 2% gets wasted. And the feed I'm feeding is real fine almost like a powder.
@lisabobbystamey79532 жыл бұрын
@@Grazing-M-Acres I got one similar to that I didn't make it I bought it it was one of those Dent sales couldn't pass it up I'm going to have to put some kind of adjustment in there they just waste way too much feed my feeds of powder too it might be because I have four eating out of one feeder
@Grazing-M-Acres2 жыл бұрын
@@lisabobbystamey7953 I have a board that I adjust that regulates how much fall into the trough so that might be helping g a little too.

What was the material used for water proofing?
@Grazing-M-Acres2 жыл бұрын
It a rubber window flashing used for new construction on houses, it has a sticky tar back so when it heats up it stickto whatever you put it on. You can find it at hardware stors or big box stores near the roofing supply, I forget the name brand of it but they make a bunch of didn't kinds.
