Great content as always Dagan. Can’t wait for my Blackstar gear reviews. Currently have the HT-1R but I’ve been wanting to try the Amped 1 b/c I want to see if I can get better tones out of it than the HT-1R. I also love that it’s a smaller footprint of the 3. However, I love that the Amped 2 has the Classic Blackstar amplifier, 3 essential tube Responses IMO, the boost/drive/fuzz and modulation. May have to look for used A2 to justify playing this at home.

I loved the Amped 2 but was turned off because of the single channel. After seeing how nicely it cleans up after rolling off the volume, I realise it doesn't need one. No one else showed that in the demos. Great vid of a great amp.

If it's not against your store policy, can you do your awesome type of review on the Nux MG400, please? I would be thrilled to hear what you can do with this multi effect guitar processor that just reached me this morning. I did buy the Orange Micro Terror based on your and other (for the sake of honesty) reviews of it. I remember you saying something about how you'd hide the MT behind huge Marshall amps. I'm not really sure if you guys stock the Nux mg400 but if you can find it in your inventory, it would be a gas to hear you play through it. This Blackstar also sounds good in your vdo like the Kramer Focus did. Respect and salutations from Aizawl.

What’s the best way to cycle through the 3 amp tones / channels ? And Will your settings be saved for each ? Seems odd to include 3 Channels and no switch to change them

I couldn't work in a guitar shop, as I'd spend all my wages on new guitar equipment all the time! It's laid out the wrong way round? The drive should be on the right side, the modulation, then delay, then reverb! But it's arse about face?

I'm curious what running the amped1 in tandem with the amped2 would look like since the biggest complaint about the amped 2 so far is the lack of presets. Thoughts?

I suppose that would work, yeah? This kind of unit isn't built for presets though, I think people just assume when they see a floorboard amp/fx unit it needs to have all these presets in - but the whole point of this is to be an old school, all in one, pedalboard setup with a kickass built in amp!

Finally got the new rig setup and I'm actually trying to configure a midi controller to cycle through the out of box settings. Emailed Blackstar, but no word back yet. Wasn't sure if you had any experience with the midi settings on this so far, I'd really like to cycle through what this amp has to offer. From what I understand, the only parameters that won't change are the cab selections, I'm ok with that though.

They missed big time not having channel switch feature. They should have done same as NUX Cerberus. Amped2 Manual says:”Local Patches cannot be saved to your amp. They can only be recalled and loaded to your amp when connected to Blackstar’s Architect [software]“.
