When’s your favorite time to trade - and why?

After the initial open - 9:45 til about 11 and then again from about 1:30 to close. Everything else is just monitoring and watching to see what the market is doing.

I live in CO and am a trim and finish carpenter. Stock market opens at 7:30 for me and I come into work between 8:30-10. I have the best boss in the world. Its pretty sweet schedule

11-18-2021 2pm lgvn hit 8- down to 7 at close- after hrs went back up to 10.39.......pre mrket 11-19 went to 13.60......and then dropped off- till 1 pm, went green and. started back upwards to 10 ish- after hours went almost to 12 bucks, and dropped- Nov 22- at 1 pm hit 15- 4 pm hit 42......3 days of the same pattern.......im a believer tim! thank you thats amazing

Tim thank you for the work that you are doing. I've been listening to you and Tim Sykes for years. Yes Ive made a couple good purchases on stocks . Now I'm looking at getting into STT with Oracle. But I personally prefer the slower learner approach. Treat me like an idiot explaining everything. I still feel like I know next to nothing about stocks.

I have a question. Do we have to exit the trade at let's say just before 1:50 p.m. for the sake of the broker, in my case Questrade? Is it okay to hold a stock just past 2:00 p.m. to let's say 2:10 or 2:15 p.m.?

Tim!..... I can't imagine " "anything" " you would say would be controversial LOL. I like that you are very direct in your approach to any subject I have heard you talk about. Straight to the point but you also "ALWAYS" have a reason for what you are saying. I always need the explanations for me to figure it out. I am older than you and have struggled with ADD my whole life so I am not a good student so I need to see, hear things sometimes several times to understand it. So I buy at 9:30 and try to sell at 3pm - Fidelity zings me with a trade warning and the trade takes 3-5 days for fill

Would you say your on track to get 100k by end of year? If not what do you need to change to resch this goal? More explosive content that is usually a members only option would aid in getting you there maybe, doubling up your uploads would also help, maybe have some incentives for others that would help it to find KZbin's logarithms maybe, you just got 3 weeks and 6.5k to go. I hear the first 100k is the hardest , but I wouldn't know. Thank for your uploads.

There is so much up in first minute and down in the next that you can easily get caught in the wrong direction at the open. A stop loss is essential in case you get the direction wrong. I have been running a scan at the open and one 15 minutes later, and they are very different. No one wants to get killed during the pump and dump sell off. I have been frustrated with markets going up overnight and pre-market and selling off at the open. You can't even count on a quick bump at the open because it already happened.
