Few teachers like to go there, and not even many Upanishads do. They stop with consciousness and the I am. I am grateful for those who apparently do speak, however. Of course, the words always fail. The Diamond Sutra is good, along with the 8-negations of Nargajuna.

All we have is perception but maybe even that noticing of an infinite consciousness, maybe it's like the Matrix, we're sitting in vat somewhere and being fed all these inputs that make us think there is an infinite consciousness. (It's what infinite consciousness is anthromorphised as doing.)

Who is this individual 'you' with perceptions? Is it not also perceived? Is the witness not also a perception? Does not the individual you, the witness, and the perception appear at the same time? Are they not one thing? Nisargatatta was asked who he was? His answer was nothing perceivable, nothing conceivable.
