I haven’t even consumed a single piece of dragon ball media, but I’ve developed a buu collection. It’s really only funkos, but I’ve really been contemplating some figures like this guy. He’d be a great start in getting into a bigger buu collection, and maybe buying other DB characters. Dragon ball poses are super fun the more I study them, and are definitely a point of intrigue to me as of late.

For me, this is the kid buu that you need right now! I know there has been issues with the joints but o quickly fix it using hot water and nail polish for the loose arm. 👌👌👌

Great review, but Tonsen has actually done more stuff before. They've done tons of faces for vegeta, 6 for base form, super saiyan, ssj god, and ssjb evolved. He also did 2 versions for majin vegeta, one metallic and one matte. I think he's done other stuff too, but he was really known for the awesome vegeta heads before the trunks and kid buu

I have both version, and I really hate the 03B version because the forearm and bicep keeps falling off or popping out, Another Problem I have with both figures is that some of the peg holes are too small, so you have to modify it just to make the hand and headsculpt fit. the lower part of the figure have terrible articulation, leg is single jointed, and the feet movement is hindered by the boots. and lastly the joints are too tight, even when lubricated.

My first Tonsen purchase was Trunks and I’m considering going after this Buu next. I’ve heard of the QC issues and with that being the case, I’m going to continue to risk it and use silicon oil to lubricate the joints. I’ve done so with officially licensed figures as well, so until a Tonsen figure of mine breaks, I’ll keep buying.
