This song is about Art Garfunkel going off to make his first movie...Catch 22...and being all worried about it. Paul Simon wrote it for Artie. The name Tom comes from their first name as a duo...Tom and Jerry.

@samanthabrownart8 жыл бұрын
Good grief. I wasn't exactly worried, when I saw that you did a Simon and Garfunkel - but I was ready to not be a massive fan of it, because I grew up constantly listening to a single CD with their best songs on it, and I've never been able to fully appreciate a cover of them. Wow, though. I am... absolutely speechless. So beautifully done, I'm so happy that you left the original way it was sung intact while adding a bit of yourselves into it - I never thought I'd appreciate a Simon and Garfunkel cover, but I'm absolutely blown away that I've found one I actually like more than the original. You guys never stop surprising me, keep on keeping on.
@emmanueludoh777 жыл бұрын
Agree 100% with your sentiment about this cover. It's melodic & ethereal, in a way that adds to the ESSENCE of the original song. I'm curious what you think of the Disturbed cover of The Sound of Silence? Thumbs up or down?

I agree with this. It’s hard to find a good cover. I might suggest getting over to Joshua Lee Turner’s channel to see/his cover of the same song. Different feel because it’s a solo. But it’s also REALLY good. (Note: I found this one from the comments on his video from a fan of both).
