Hello from Brazil! Excellent work! I have an important question: HOW TO RECORD A SONG WITH A CHANGE IN TIMESTAMPS? For example: Intro in 7/4 > Verse 1 in 4/4 > Verse 2 returns to 7/4. Is it possible to program the metronome for this?

Thank you, Emily, of course I use templates but this newbie also likes to learn and see how different engineers route their tracks to busses etc. And that plugin thing too. (smile) I'm such a newbie that LUNA is my DAW of choice - I was merely trying to upgrade my audio interface for VO work when I discovered that it came with a DAW... and the rest is GAS/PAS history...

Hey, Dean. All the plugins I use are shown in the video. However, I do recommend having the ones on the parallel channels to fully accomplish this technique. (1176, FATSO, 1073, 33609)

Great job, Emily. But I have a question, why do the output routing, on the drums, and the the sends differ from your Pro Tools template. Maybe I'm wrong but couldn't they have been the same. But either way it's a great template and I'm trying to replace the plugins, I don't have with my own

Hey Ole! I have updated the templates since this video. I used to have multiple outputs routed to the parallel tracks. But I realized some DAWs don’t offer multiple outputs, so I changed it to sends routed to the parallels.

Hi Emily, how are you doing. Listen I need help sorry to bother you. I love Luna, however it seems to have some difficulty when working on wave format audio. I have a session of about 40 tracks and they're all in wave format. When I hit play, by the time it reaches 3 minutes starts stopping and jumping within bars.. I'm thinking that maybe wave is still to heavy for Luna. Is there a better wave format in which Luna can work with better flow? Thank you and I'm sorry to bother you..

Subscriber 988. Great video. I'm in between DAWs at the moment. Coming from Reaper I tried PT for a month and now I'm trying out Studio One. PT hasn't changed much frim 10 years ago. Studio One is good but there's things I don't like. Maybe it's time to try out LUNA. Good luck with the channel.

Thanks so much for the support, Jim! Yep, I’ve been using Pro Tools for around 10 years and you’re right, it hasn’t changed much. I also have been dabbling in Studio One. Mostly to be familiar with it bc a lot of people like to song write in it. But it is not my favorite. It’s pretty different from PT. What I like most about LUNA is that it works a lot like PT. It is very easy to navigate coming from PT. Plus all the added analog feel. It just sounds better. I think it will continue to expand as well. PT seems a little behind in that department. I know they are pushing a similar product now, I just think they are trying to compete instead of really designing a stellar product. But, these are just my opinions. Good monday Emily, your videos are so helpful. I love working in Luna. I use the spitfire discovery orchestra to write movie trailers with vocals and compose classical songs with vocals using the spitfire instruments. I am mainly focused on getting better sounding vocals. There you mentioned in your video that you took some things out of the template I was wondering if I can use this template for the spitfire orchestral + vocal recordings and mixing. I haven't really found any videos where they show how to route and treat the orchestral instruments. So hoping I can get all better using your template. Love to hear from you

I am struggling such a long time and trying and tweaking and Lie awake at night trying to figure out how to get a normal sounding vocal added to the instruments or orchestra. You can imagine the frustration :-) but I never gave up. 2022 is for trying anew. So, love to hear from you if the Luna template and direction how to use it is enough for me to put my projects in or that it would be wise to have an instructional video with it so I can follow exactly what you do and why :-) ❤️

Josh, The LUNA template comes with the template and the video to it is the one here on KZbin. I believe 100% in my vocal mixing technique that it will get your vocals where you want them. I saw you commented on an older video that has this technique and I have updated that. It is much more simple and produces great results every time. This is all included in the LUNA template.

Does your template have a twin x setting so you don’t need to reroute inputs/ outputs /monitors etc.

The template works with any interface. People own all kinds. You just select the input you want to use.

Hey Erik, I do have my template design available in Logic. You can replace any of the plugins you don’t have with ones you do! That’s the best part about the template. The setup is the important part with the calibrated parallels. Let me know if you have any other questions!

You can add audio tracks to the template or drag existing tracks in. The template doesn’t include audio tracks. They are groups and aux tracks.

I'm sorry you thought this template was free. I have never said it was. A lot goes into the design of my templates, as I create them with pre-calibrated parallel processing tracks. I have many other free content on my website you can check out. This video is free and if you really wanted, I bet you could build it yourself by watching.
