The pin bar failure happens frequently but sometimes there is no pull back, failure, or second chance. In my opinion the best thing to do is take the first pin bar, if it stops you out, then take the second, third, tenth…pin bar as a re-entry. That is what happens when we trade, not every pattern or pin bar works but they work most of the time. In fact the first pin bar will work 60 percent of the time in my experience trading futures, so if you skip the first pin bar you see and wait for the next one you will end up missing 60 percent of the winning trades. However if you wait and only take the second pin bar your trade success will go up to 80 percent in my experience. Its just that you will have to watch a lot of good trades run away from you.

My advice to you is don't keep re-entering upon every failed pin bar, but rather wait until all the noises end and a big bar closes that engulfs all those noises (short candles) and then enter so that you will not lose money so many times. You still have enough room to make at least one equal reward.

This is why you move SL... lol. A good trader will place a TP 1 at the first support level. which in this case was not hit. so to ensure a profitable trade. The SL is moved to profit once the first bar is closed in profit. The first bar in profit in this case went down first and then went up.... it basically told you that this probably would not go far so don't go setting crazy TPs like 3 to 1. lol. just no. don't ever do that. I probably would not have gotten a ton out of the trade. But i would not have lost $ on it. And no problem getting in on the 2nd part of it. even if i took off and left the watchdog bot running. it would have grabbed that re entry no problem. given all the indecision... probably at above the SR above all the mess. It's a bit of a paranoid bot.
