What are yalls thoughts on Madden 25? I would say it's the best Madden since Madden 18 (in my opinion). Also, I realize I was wrong about the new kickoff rules in the NFL, the ball has to land inside the 20 yard line, not the 30. so when I mention the "bug" at 22:20. its not a bug and the game is correct. I had the rules wrong

There is nothing that remotely signifies the NFL is going to change things. Dude, even when 2k5 came out, Madden had football on lock. 2k5 didn’t even out sell Madden. That should tell you something about what consumers value. I like 2k presentation way better but gameplay was never that good. All Pro 2k8 had the best gameplay. Either way 2k ain’t gonna be the solution, it wasn’t back then and the same applies now.

Its a HUGE L that they didn't integrate College 25 Road to Glory or DRAFT Class , to this years franchise as it would've justified buying both and both having the same engine and have huge replay value. Their a billion dollar company there is no excuses to it. The gameplay has better replays than College football but not by much, but honestly every thing around it feels so soulless. The past maddens from ps2-ps3 , when picking a fav team, we saw the pictures of legends in the menu and that helped with immersing ourselves into the game and the full NFL exp. But they've just hid all legendary and older players to MUT so they cant do any of that. Even getting drafted to a team, there was no video of the history of said team, no how they did past season. At the moment its all soulless and lacks alot of character.

You can draft your RTG player to Superstar mode. The draft class I guess is a legal issue. They had to generate random players to export to Madden, no point really. Unless College football players sign some type of agreement to be in Madden (even the ones that don’t make the NFL) draft class will probably never happen again.

The Squib kick being a penalty is not a bug, it’s the new NFL rules adopted this season. The Ball has to travel in the air over the 20 yard line otherwise it’s a landing zone violation. NFL clubs have approved a new kickoff rule for the 2024 season. They should not touch gameplay at all it works fine how it is now. We just need an overhaul on presentation. That should be the main focus. EA , Sit down on a Sunday night with a note pad and jot down how the NFL is presented, you do have the license after all. Rockstar goes out their way to get details like streets in gta 5 and ect. I am going back and forth thinking about buying this game. Have not bought it yet. Watching so many videos but they're all the same. Everyone basically on KZbin saying the game sucks. Have they changed the hire and fire offensive and defensive coordinators? I've gone 6 seasons hiring an offensive coordinator after every season and for some reason I couldn't hire one. So I simulated the next season but still couldn't hire one, so I had to quit my franchise and start all over again. Happens every time. Sometimes it's 6 seasons, sometimes 8. But it never fails. I also see the QB takes forever to get to the LOS. Walking up, looking around, clapping, take 6 baby steps to get under Center. No sense of urgency whatsoever.

But it's been a few years since I got a Madden, and the updates (animations, equipment) look good, and fun (enough) ... even though the AI is still dumb as a rock. @@mrbew4186competition was good when other companies used to be able to create games. 2k has more microtransactions than madden, yet has a way deeper franchise mode, a way more fun career mode, and game modes like my nba eras that make the game way more fun than this. at least that is a big complaint, unlike EA when having a lack of depth only scratches the surface of what to complain about 🤷🏾‍♂️

I think its the best madden they've made so far! The super star showdown mode is insanely good! I like how you can import your CFB25 RTG Player into the NFL and participate in the combine, walk the stage when they call your name, cut scenes look like a movie , the graphics look real like and the gameplay is smooth!

If I was being honest I'd say that Madden is always mediocre and is something that I buy yearly out of habit and hope. @19:57 I believe you used the flick switch feature in stead of just doing a normal switch. Its supposed to help with switch off ints but obv sucks for if you need to control the dline

Haha I think Pimp My Ride actually did fix the mechanical issues with the cars. In fact I remember one episode where they just gave the person a brand new car because the original one was so mechanically inept. However, I see what you’re getting at. Good review.

13:48 my favorite thing in madden/ncaa 11 was creating recruits and then being able to export them to madden from dynasty. It was just a whole different level of depth

I only play the CPU and I only care about gameplay. I'm enjoying the game very much. I love that I'm playing on All Madden level and it doesn't feel like I'm playing a team on steroids. I'm seeing a lot of new tackling animations. I'm on PC and with a few graphical changes in the settings. The game looks beautiful and plays smooth. It's a thumbs up for me this year.

I'm pretty sure the squib kick has to land first inside the 20. Bouncing from the 25 into the 20 is illegal now. So basically, the kicker only has 20 yards inbounds to work with. weird

I boost up the passing defense sliders to 95 just to see how my team would play...a small step..but CB's were still playing so dumb. Im replaying everything AI broking far as i can tell. Next to turn down cpu sliders and test that

ehh sometimes. it's not nearly as smooth as apf 2k8 or even some older maddens. the QB kinda re-tucks the football and then makes a throwing motion and the ball comes out wobbly.

Regarding your corner sitting on the hitch and your safety running with the slot wr deep, there are some cover 3 match concepts in which that is supposed to happen. So in this case Madden might have actually got it right.

@@RyZeSnipez1 you can still create a player but yes player mode is gone. That has pretty much ruined it for me. Superstar mode is garbage. If they would allow a slow sim option so you could watch the game unfold when you’re off the field it might be passable.

How about that stupid thing where footprints appear in the snow (good), but if a body slides on a snowy field? No marks whatsoever. Just dumb. It tells me that the player model isn't "connected" to the field model.
