The only slash you’ll ever need to build !

Wanted to kick off my channel talking about the truck that is currently my favorite build. This is my traxxas 2wd slash. Great for regular outside bashing desert runs and track driving. This is my first video of many more to come. Let me know what you guys think and if you like the first bit of content.

One thing that stood out for me was the front wheel sliding back when shocks are compressed rather than straight up and down

Its cuz the shock tower, bulkhead and chassie is angled in the front

It's the difference between 2wd and 4x4. 2wd has slanted front suspension in Traxxas.

I like the limiter straps. Excellent way to keep axles from coming out as well. Gonna look into this.

The 2wd Slash is my favorite rc of all. You can do so much with them. I have one sort of like this with Rustler wide arms up front and Rustler rear arms. The added width makes it a completely different driving experience. That's a nice build.

Slash 2wd was my first build. It went through a bunch of variations using different parts set ups and chassis. I still have it, I can honestly say it has zero original parts, and very few traxxas 2wd slash parts . I think the input shaft is the only non upgraded part. So much fun, options and pretty easy to wrench on. Great build 👍

Could you give me the part numbers for the front/ rear a arms, shocks, limit straps, shock ends, and run buckles. Also if there was any extra hardware that was needed for the shock installation. I would love to replicate your suspension setup because that looks sick. I imagine the cost for all the mods for suspension, body, paint, maybe tires and all that will end up costing me like 200 dollars, I would also need to ditch the anti roll bars I am runnning. Are the front wide a arms from the rustler , and do you use 22s rear shocks for the front as well?

I have a udr along with a raptor r slash and I wanna upgrade the suspension I want more travel since it's a raptor and I feel like the stock suspension is honestly pretty bad ngl I moved the positioning of the shocks for more travel but that only helped so much, any suggestions for suspension with more travel?
