so i am new. 1) What does green area and lethal mean??? Is it just difficulty or does the game goes from green to lethal at some point? 2) And as i understand there are beginner bases and end game bases, does that mean that at some point i simply have to abandone my first base or how does that work???? Or the game simply has special base areas that you can just occupy and then customize them all??? 3) And are there always online players who try to kill me or can i play just vs AI so that online players don't harass me???

What could anyone do almost 3k hours in this game?.. It's fun, but it has very limited content. Me and my friends started getting bored at around 150-200. Additionally for tip #31. If you are in Nightmare or Lethal Zone and you recruit a survivor to claim a base or any other reason, and then decide to exile them for whatever reason, be aware they can get killed by zombies or freaks as they are leaving the area. For some reason there will be a moral penalty added to your community. The game still counts the exiled survivor as part of the community. In order to avoid this, you must exit the game and restart immediately after the survivor has successfully been exiled.

Good video, very helpful, also i have a few tips of my own: 1. if you don't want to ruin your main melee weapon you can try making zombies fall to the ground and then crouch to execute them, your character then will perfom a knife execution. 2. If you're on a hurry or you just want to open a locked door faster, push the sprint button instead of the execution button this way you will open the door in the first attempt and as far as i've seen it's not particularly louder. 3. The people from your comunnity can actually help you with the bounty hunter missions, even if they're not your companions, let me explain myself, if for example you have to kill let's say 14 zombies with assault rifles, you can equip everyone in your base with assault rifles and then either cause a siege on your base or lead a horde to your base, those zombies will be killed with the weapon in question and it will count to complete the mission.

When you have a follower with you while crouched, you must be careful around nearby zombies. The NPC will get a bit nervous and begin to exhibit odd behavior, especially if a zombie has locked on and have the flashing icon in the mini-map. As long as your are not detected, everything should be alright. Another thing with followers. They will not always take the same path as you when traveling on foot. For example: if you are trying to get down a hill that is not clearly traversible, the follower will go around and choose a path of least resistance and possibly be detected by freaks and zombies which could result in havoc.

This was an excellent video. A lot of REALLY great information. Here is a tip that I did not notice in your video. WHEN YOU CLAIM AN OUTPOST, YOUR CHARACTER HAS AUTOMATIC SPEED SEARCH OF THE OUTPOSTS SEARCH SPOTS WITH ZERO CRASH RATE. THIS IS ESPECIALLY HELPFUL WITH OUTPOSTS THAT HAVE A LOT OF SEARCH SPOTS (6-10). So, claim the outpost, then search all of the spots and viola...
@StateofDecayScience2 жыл бұрын
There are few problems with that. First, we won't get full refund when we abandon the outpost. Most of the sites will be claimed by the plague heart so we can't claim them immediately. Max stealth does the same but everywhere. that's why I added that as a tip!

here's another tip, if you are dying or a critical situation, just exit to the menu, when you come back the zombies are all gone, but you lose active quests/timers, i do this in some critical situations like almost death and this does not reset low life heart, only appears to reset full- life to mid-life. Btw, nice video :)

Yeah, Forge can do that.. but it is a useless feature because we can't make materials in early-mid game since we will be in parts shortage!
