I am a subscriber who watches content similar to yours,. Alot of times I really don't study the examples that hard but by watching examples my eyes are constantly scanning the board looking for possibility's And thankyou for taking the time to do this for us.Although, being as how you are "the Teacher" then you know that we all lose somtimes and its always one small mistake . At 12:56 black could have got out of that and its not hard to see they could take the knight with their knight or rook. they wouldn't miss that either plus when they moved their king to get out of check the f6 was covered by Q check you slide right past the square to get to your convenient check mate , you would have got the queen. but check mate no. I dont discredit your teachings I know you were caught up in the moment . but be careful alot of people saw this and they have most likely moved on. I'll keep watching I'm still true to this game I love.

Thank you for your comment! I double-checked the position you mentioned, and everything I explained holds up-it's +6 for White in the ending position. However, you're correct that there's no immediate checkmate. I should have analyzed it a few moves deeper to clarify, as I understand why it might look like I made a mistake. 🙂

So today I applied that strategy against an opponent that in my circle of chess players is un beatable which makes me better ,playing him during the end game i was coming up with fork after fork, double pins and he still beat me later but after he said good game he said " he was impressed with my playing ' coming from this person means alot now i need to beat himso im paying attention to chess content@@Pegasus-Chess

At 09:00 what about Nf3 + and then when pawn takes we can pin the queen to the king by rook Rg8 (I know king can just move and don't take our pawn ) just a thought :)

@@Pegasus-Chess Solutions are easier with the "hint"; i.e. Mate in 4, etc.

16:58 Instead of capturing the pawn just push the B pawn If white takes the pawn, just take back and You're promoting on the next move
@Pegasus-Chess2 ай бұрын
The white king can stop promotion in that line!

He missed it in the 2nd example for discovered attack you can play knight check first and if the pawn takes you then moves your rook pinning the queen to the king slowing you to win the queen
@Pegasus-ChessАй бұрын
That line doesn't work but I get why it looks tempting. Nf3+, gxf3 Rg8 but white has Bb5+!! and you are forced to block the check with your queen or knight, losing material in every variation.
