The Only Thing I Know For Real Japanese Metal Arrange (知っていることだけ) | Metal Gear Rising

This is another arrangement of The Only Thing I know for real, where I attempt to translate lyrics into Japanese, changes the arrangement into japan traditional-metal and create a cinematic about the back stories of Rikigetsu Osamu (Alternative universe version of Samuel Rodrigues) based on his original counterpart back story that was left behind the scenes as well as the glimpse of Raiden flashbacks.
This might not be the only Japanese version of MGR track you know for real from metal gear rising, I might be doing more sooner or later. There's a lot of other interesting songs for me to work on. You can look forward to see other stuffs in my channel.

The setting of the story take place in ancient japan where yokai dwell inside human body. The stronger reasons of fighting are, the stronger the yokai abilities will be granted on a human. The more corrupted human have become, the more yokai will take influence over their bodies.

Mistral: Kitsune, each of her arms is a tail. Monsoon: Rokurokubi, everything centers around his head, which he can detach at will. Sundowner: Oni, burly and imposing but with his shield lending him a samurai aesthetic. Sam: a Ronin in the employ of the Yokai army, ironically despite working with monsters, he’s retained much of his humanity. Armstrong: if Sundowner is an Oni, then Armstrong is Shuten Douji. Bonus, Blade Wolf: Raiju, the lighting hound. Khamsin: a foreigner piloting a steampunk mech that he’s trying to sell to either the shogunate or the yokai, constantly rants about Manifest Destiny.

Raiden: Initially human but was experimented on using magic and was fused with a Raiju (Thunder wolf) and a Kamiotachi. Blade Wolf: Raiju. The connection to Raiden's Raiju side is what convinced Blade Wolf to join Raiden Mistral: The child of a human woman and a Tako Nyudo, granting her several octopus tentacles Monsoon: Is an experiment of the current yokai ruler, a Wanyudo who had their head transplanted onto a body. This granted Monsoon full control over the body to the extent it can detach without harming him as his head is his true body Sundowner: An Oni who uses magic to control parts of the armour he is wearing to use it as a shield, his armour giving him a samurai aesthetic. Jetstream Sam: A human who was taught how to swordfight by Tengu. When he was employed by the Yokai Army he was granted the Murasama blade which was actually Muramasa's Juuchi Yosamu and slowly corrupted him over time due to being fully human Armstrong: The current Yokai Ruler. Shuten Doji, a massive hulking Oni who is also noted to be extremely intelligent. He's made some surprising advancements with the Yokai under his command. Even being the one overseeing Monsoon's creation and helped develop a gigantic Tsuchigumo that he could fuse with and control.

Let’s be honest, if Raiden didn’t have plot armour Sam would’ve beat his ass again. Better sword, reflexes on almost the same level as Raiden’s enhanced body, pure skill and talent, more combat prowess. He was just superior in every way. Heck, if his AI didn’t make him stand around like an idiot for you to hit I bet it would’ve taken a long ass time to beat him on any difficulty.

@@crusaderdoomslayer7055 I accounted for that and also Ripper mode allows Raiden to fight more aggressively, it does not increase his total strength. Think of it as a way to liberate his ruthless side and fight for real rather than a power up. It would be like saying that when Sam loses his sword he powered up or down, bag he us still the same but his tools are a bit different which changes his approach to battle.

I think it was more of a mental fight than anything. Sam is lost to bloodshed and has nothing to fight for anymore, while Raiden is dedicated and would fight anything that stands on his way. In a way I genuinely don't think Sam even cared about winning that fight - he wanted for Raiden to pursue his goals since the very beginning (and that's why he didn't kill him at the end of chapter 1), and seeing how far Raiden has come since their last fight, Samuel was quite okay with Raiden winning.
