THE ONLY TOURISTS IN NUSA PENIDA

Last week we went to a very special place - Nusa Penida Island. It is located near Bali, Indonesia. Even if this island is well known and often overcrowded, in 2022 it is still remaining one of the most favorite destinations for travelers and photographers.
We have been dreaming to come here for few years. We’ve seen photos of its amazing beaches and viewpoints in Internet and we couldn’t believe that those places could actually exist. Clear blue water, agonizingly high glassy cliffs, spectacular sunsets and golden sand beaches…
Do those even sound real?
So we took a speed boat to Nusa Penida, to see its famous spots with our own eyes.
And you know what?
We were amazed!
I think that now Nusa Penida is our New Favorite!
This time the island was almost empty. Not too many people. Sometimes we felt like we were the only tourists there. It's perfect time for visiting Nusa Penida!

Hi Princela! Thanks for your question! Of course, it all depends on your way of traveling, but you should consider visiting the island for 2-3 days at least. It should be enough to see its top attractions of Nusa Penida. Consider also visiting the sister island Nusa Lembongan while you are already there! :)

We went on this trip in January. To be honest, you gotta be prepared for everything. The weather in winter is so random and totally unpredictable. It’s changing locally a lot. For what the locals told us, Nusa Penida is sunnier than Bali during the wet season, so it might be a good idea to visit this island :) I hope this helped \ Karol

Is it true that if its rough weather the boats wont go from bali to nusa penida? im worried about booking there

Yes! It’s true! But a random rain isn’t a bad weather for boat providers, so you shouldn’t worry. There are many different providers there and they would cancel boats only if the weather would be life threatening. I’m sure you won’t want to risk it either in such situation:)
