Neil, I'm starting an insurance lead generation company, and the CPC of any relevant keywords are over $30. I think there are exceptions to your checklist for the insurance industry. For some keywords, it's more expensive than direct marketing commissions. given we aren't aninsurance brokerage or provider, we literally can't compete. their margins are literally like 10x greater than ours.

Try going after longtail keywords that aren't as expensive. Make sure you're targeting keywords that are relevant to what people would be searching for when looking for your company.
