Last two weeks, I almost lost all trades. Then I decided to reflect on myself. After watching your videos, I found out the reason for losing streak. I solely focused on a passing prop firm challenge and making money on my small account. I heavily concentrated on the outcome not the process. Making profit clouded my judgement and I was not an objective trader. Therefore I did not see the market clearly and price action. But now I believe that I am on the right track. Thank you man.
@TradingFanatic

That's a very big realization, Bill. Once you've done this - there's no way back. It's time to become a new person and start focusing on the Process. Well done for becoming aware of this. You are definitely on the right path, you just have to stay disciplined to it and train yourself and your mind to maintain that focus on the process. You've got it!

I started trading with live account without knowing any knowledge, but it helps me alot and learned alot of things. It's been almost 2 years and I do setup by myself from my experiences and it's quite simple without any indicator, eventually most of time that i've made mistakes is trying to trade everyday 😂

I don't have enough words to express how much your videos help me. You are such a star, a selfless soul for imparting knowledge about these things which honestly almost NO ONE talks about. Thank you for your invaluable insights, and for being kind enough to share them with aspiring traders. You cannot imagine how vastly helpful they are. Please, keep it up! Love you so much, Iliya!!

Thank you for filling my heart! Comments like this keep me pushing, as it shows me that there's appreciation for the realness that I try to preach. All I do is share my geniuine learnings, as I know that's what everybody goes through. So, I give you Kudos for acutally listening and opening your mind to those things, because many traders only look for new strategies and the next shiny concept. Thank you for the support once again and hope to keep hearing from you!

Another fantastic video. I think it was the video before this where you said that when you look at the market and that bell sound goes "ping" in your head those are the trades you should be taking. If I look at the market and don't see it straight away I don't even bother looking for a trade I wait for another day. I like the trades that just shout at me so to speak where it all just lines up. They are few and far between but well worth the wait. Thank you for all your advise we all appreciate it

Brother, that is a very key mind state to be in, believe me. The discipline to see that there's nothing in the market and walk away is what not a lot of traders have. So - Kudos for you! That's your big step to consistency and taking only the best setups, so you end up stacking money at the end and not covering for stupid losses. Well done!

Thank you so much for this video. I have been struggling in that endless learning cycle watching different videos on KZbin tube trying to get the most perfect strategy i should use. I'm now overwhelmed by to much informations which is my reason to not being profitable. From this Video I am going to go live applying the simplest of what i have absorbed. Cause i realized there is nothing new on KZbin. It's all a repetitive confusing information on what existed since centuries ago. None on KZbin created the Market structure. Thank you so much for liberating me from the stressful confusion, thank you for your Golden Heart, you're the only one mentor who can share that truth. Thank you for that selfless heart. I can't thank you enough. I will recommend your Name to all that aspire becoming Trader. May God bless you so much.

If you don't backtest, how do you know your strategy has an edge? I also have noticed that after backtesting 50+ rule based "youtube strategies" none of them have good edge or are close to break even after fees. It's super hard to find something with an edge.
@TradingFanatic
@TradingFanatic Ай бұрын
And that's why you will never find your edge - because you keep backtesting youtube strategies, instead of going live in the market and learning from its feedback Backtesting will never help in finding edge. True Edge is your experience from the live markets. Learning from losses. Learning from different market conditions. You will NOT find your edge on KZbin. I teach my private students my edge and provide them with a framework, BUT then I forbid them to backtest and make them go live and start documenting batches of 20 live trades, and then going back to review and reflect on them. When they get to 40-60 executed trades - they have already found their edge and start being profitable.
@taunok.2960
@taunok.2960 Ай бұрын
@@TradingFanatic So it's not hard IF THEN rule based setup but execution changes depending what market conditions are and what your experience says? Discretionary trading?
@TradingFanatic
@TradingFanatic Ай бұрын
@@taunok.2960 If trading could be IF THEN and 100% mechanical, people would be millionaires running robots. Meanwhile. trading bots are known to always end up blowing up. Maybe there are some strategies and bots who are consistent, who knows :D Trading is usually 80% mechanical, which is your overall strategy framework and your market paradigm (how you view and analyze the market). And 20% is intuition, which is simply experience with your strategy. And that 20% is eventually what makes you really profitable. But in order to build those 20%, you have to spend 6-12 month with your strategy, refine it, learn from it, learn from market conditions and keep improving.

As a beginner, all the knowledge you obtain is useful. I'd definitely recommend babypips, because it will teach you the absolute basics you have to know. And then once you are done with it, then it's time to get into more advanced and structured content with strategies. Because babypips won't teach you a strategy, but just give you lots of details.

Bro so that mean if I get strategy I should keep to it without going back to KZbin to switch another video about my strategy?
@TradingFanatic
@TradingFanatic Ай бұрын
That's right. Because nowadays, you might say that SMC or ICT is your strategy. So you always think that you can learn something from KZbin on "your strategy", just because it's ICT/SMC. Yet, all the people you learn from trade differently and look at those concepts in a different way. So all you get is confusion. Pick a mentor, learn from him and then just go solo in the market mastering what you learned, without watching any "additional learnings" from KZbin.
