100 agree! My husband and I never wanted to plan a wedding. I wore a beautiful dress, we went to a nice Italian restaurant together and finished the «party» riding on rollercoasters in a theme park)

I agree with you. Our wedding g was at Mt Rainier and only had a few close friends in attendance. We didn’t even invite our parents because we knew they wouldn’t want to travel. Most expensive part of it was flying to Seattle from Texas, but we did splurge and fly first class for that trip though.

That’s awesome! Sounds like it was perfect for you two and that’s what matters!

I agree with you on, like, all of this. My husband and I were looking at the cost of everything, I was getting incredibly overwhelmed and I finally said "Let's just elope"...it was also the pandemic so it was easy to say "no" to a gathering lol

Eloping is 10000% the way to go!! So worth it.

As usual, I one million percent agree with you on all counts. 😆 Down with the wedding industry!! I spent $27 on my wedding dress, about the same in my shoes, our wedding cake was a bunch of Trader Joe's cheesecakes, and we got married in my (now former) MIL's backyard. I'm divorced now (still good friends with my ex, we just needed to no longer be married) and getting re-married next month. We're about to own our first house and I think we'll be getting married in our front yard. My sister is going to officiate. The guest list will be fewer than ten people. I'm not buying any new clothes for it. We'll keep our engagement rings as our wedding rings. Anyway, you're awesome, I loved this video so much, you had a beautiful wedding! Thank you as always for sharing! ❤
