Yea that's what's been bugging me forever.... The standard advice is usually "just go aim train and eventually it'll get better".... I mean sure, but you waste A LOT of time waving-around in the dark when you don't really understand what the core problem is.... especially since no one really mentions it at all. Most players just conclude that the Wingman is too hard to use reliably, and just grab an AR instead.

One major tip and the main reason people flick: Don't focus on the reticle. When hipfiring, you can easily hit shots, if the recoil is good, but you start to suck, when ADS-ing, and the reason is, that your reticle moves with the whole weapon, which leads to many subconsciously making the decision to flick back to the reticle and put it on the target before the kick of the gun has reset, which leads to inconsistent shots. The thing is, if you just tried it for fun to put a custom reticle that is either your monitor's built in or a third party one, you will see, how easy it is to hit shots, if you focus that reticle on the target rather than the gun's reticle on the target. And here is that mega tip, that I want to tell: focus on the middle of the screen, not the reticle. Learn to see the middle of the screen and it will be soooooooooo easy to hit shots. Tracking will also become easier, cos one is to track with the weapon, but you can't really track with it, if your gun kicks so much and the fire rate is as fast as the gun kick (the gun resets and instantly can be shot again, leaving no time to adjust, so you either have to slow down with the shots, costing you a kill or a win even, or you have to somehow know, where the middle of the screen is to aim, which is what I am advising). This will really help out everyone, trust me. This is something, that I found out myself, but has been a thing, that many pros do and some have acknowledged too recently, which is amazing! Imo, after finding this out, I find it harder to shoot with a Prowler than a wingman. The Hemlock is easy, but the Prowler is soooo punishing with it's 5 round burst, meaning you have only 4 bursts without an extended mag.

A tip if I might. It helps if you take your first shot and hit scoped then as fast as you can, unscope and shoot again, and you'll get two shots in faster and more accurate than normal.

Been playing since season 3 never picked it up because what you said was right. I’ve been forcing myself to keep it now and I’ve got the best 1v3s in my life. Flicking is bad but after practice you can hit that last 45 for the 3xelim. Thanks for the vid. Firing range is great however it doesn’t train for crap in the lobbies I’m in with people that good. Flatline wing. R99 wing are so good. Finish with an auto fire to clean up

This is so true. The other factor that a lot of people don’t know is that the wingman offers you probably the highest movement speed whilst on ads. That’s why i love the wingman so much, even sometimes i could be pretty inconsistent with it. Oh, and don’t forget to top it off by training in arenas using wingman. That helped me a lot to get comfortable with this gun

Been almost exclusively using the wingman for a few weeks now and have gotten much much better at using it. Now I've crafted the death ray for it and am frequently getting 7-9 kill blowout arenas games. Theres nothing quite like hitting 5 perfect bodyshots with the wingman, except for maybe perfectly lasering someone with an r99

Hey! I played with some wingman tonight would you be able to look at the last two vids I uploaded to my channel and offer any tips? They're short. We went on to win that match, they were a duo stack and I was the random but kill leader. In a lobby that was out of my league but I was hitting my shots sort of. I wiffed alot

@@MrM4rvelous The best advice I can give for that last sentence (and something I wish someone told me) is to never focus on how you're being perceived by your teamates. All it does is put you in the mindset of feeling like you need to perform for the sake of people's opinions, which by extension, will make you anxious and lead to a breakdown of your executive function, motor skills, and decision making. Instead, every time you sit down to play, engrain literally 1 singlular isolated goal... "to get better". That's it, nothing else. Everything from that point onward pretty much falls into place, making you MUCH more effective since you're no longer preoccupied with trying to impress or worried about what other's are thinking about your performance. Instead, your brain now has a higher goal and will naturally (usually) put you in a state where all your decisions come naturally, your aim is effortless and you just make all the "right plays". And say, if an random enemy squad is standing between you and your primary goal to "get better", instead of getting anxious at the thought of loosing infront of your teamates, your subconscious will take over and allow your brain to become the problem solving machine that it is, drawing on everything it already knows (actual muscle memory) to solve the problem (enemy squad) infront of you. ❤️ TL;DR Focus on the correct goal so you essentiallly "get out of your own way" and allow your natural skill to take over.

The Kraber is your typical sniper weapon so the same rules apply in that regard. Definitely getting used to its weird bullet travel time and dropoff is essential, so it really just means you need to use it a lot more.

Oh nah Apex doesn't have custom crosshairs. My colors are default, in some clips it might be yellow, but mostly default.

@@Eliv537 it's the default yellow that the game provides in the choices to the top left of the reticle page. Only really used it for a couple months before going back to default. I currently play at 1.7 with 1.1 ADS @ 800 DPI. ❤️
