I’m the worst player I know and I don’t know why. I have 1600 hours and my k/d isn’t even 1.. I know it’s mental bc I don’t have trouble in other games. For some reason I can aim better on the switch in hand held mode but when I’m on my pc I can’t aim. Idk what to do it’s so embarrassing and discouraging and I just want to get better. I want to give up and people tell me I should but I truly love the game. I’m a joke and nothing anyone has said has helped. I’ve never been this bad at something ever but I just keep coming back even though it makes me feel like shit. If anyone has advice or anything let me know. If you want to roast me too that’s fine, I’m used to it now.

I also had a really hard time transferring to pc from console especially since I didn't play shooters growing up at all, I feel like everyone is way ahead of me. The last few months I've made huge steps and increased my avg dmg and k/d a lot from 2 things. Lowering my sensitiviy - I now play with 800-1000 dpi with a .7 sensitivity and after about 2 weeks of hot dropping with it it's made a huge difference Focusing on movement as much as aim - The majority of my deaths weren't bc my opponent was better at aiming it was bc I was easier to hit than them. I've been hard practicing counter strafing and air strafing to the point where it's becoming second nature.

Try your best to ignore all of that. If you truly love Apex, you will get better at by playing it. If you have 1,600 hours there's no way you're not at least half decent. Don't be so hard on yourself bro, it's your journey not anyone else's. I'm on discord if you need help, just check the description.

This is the bane of every Apex Player, including me. I'm pretty sure Respawn added this as a way to increase the risk of reviving a teammate, and also to allow the fact that Crypto's drone can pick up banners and revive instantly to be considered a buff.
