The funny thing is that this movie isn't one of the bigger box office bombs. Some box office bombs only grossed around $300K or $400K. The movie "A Troll In Central Park" grossed just over $71,000 back in 1994.

This movie was based on characters that were originally a tv show called 'My Bedbugs'. A relatively little known children’s show that aired on PBS in Detroit and a few other markets, but not everywhere, in the mid-to-late 2000s.The creators of the show sold the rights to the producers of this film. They revamped the characters and gave them new names. There are a few clips of the show here on youtube.

This reminds me of when I went to see Alpha and Omega and G-Force. There were only a small number of other people who I'm sure were from the same family. With G-Force, the child was so bored that she was just running around the seats after the 25-minute mark.
