Another way to to refute Trinitarians is to ask them "if Jesus is god, then why is the Lord's prayer addressed only to the Father and not to to the son?" Its like as if Jesus is not want to be prayed or worshipped to.

During an interview with Angelika Neuwirth, the distinguished Professor of Qur’anic studies, she argued that the Qur’an has never been successfully challenged by anyone, past or present: "No one has succeeded, this is right… I really think that the Qur’an has even brought Western researchers embarrassment, who were not able to clarify how suddenly in an environment where there were not any appreciable written text, appeared the Qur’an with its richness of ideas and its magnificent wordings."

I think the panel completely missed what DivineSeeker was asking. He was not saying YHWH is a valid name and the Quran should have that name too. He was asking why does the Quran, which addresses the Jews for their many errors not either correct them on YHWH or validate it. The contemporary Jews at the time of Muhammad(saws) would have also used YHWH. That was the anomaly DS was asking about it i.e the absence of Allah addressing YHWH in the Quran since that is the central beliefs of the Jews. The simple answer would have been to say YHWH is not really a name therefore there is nothing to address regarding its validity or not. The Jews dont know the name of Allah, therefore take up any of the names Allah mentions about Himself in the Quran.
@DivineSeeker1
@DivineSeeker1 14 күн бұрын
You've captured some of what I meant, but the panel missed the crucial point higlighted. Perhaps you can expand further on your answer. Just out of curiosity, do you view "Allah" as the specific proper noun name of God or simply as the Arabic term for God used as a title by Arabic-speaking Muslims, Christians, and Jews?
@abutalsafuba2179
@abutalsafuba2179 14 күн бұрын
@DivineSeeker1 Allah is a proper noun. I.e His name. When we pray we can say "Ya Allah' So we supplicate via his names.
@DivineSeeker1
@DivineSeeker1 14 күн бұрын
@@abutalsafuba2179 Even though some Muslims argue it is a title I will not question your assertion that it is a proper noun. Cite the verse from the Quran which unequivocally designate the word Allah as a proper noun? Arabic speaking Jews along with the Pagan Arabs knew the word Allah, used as as a title the Arabic term for God, long before the advent of Christianity or Islam. Modern day Jews and Christians still use the word Allah as a title. Why is YHWH not really a name? And why would a Jew take any of the names of Allah when they worship YHWH?
@abutalsafuba2179
@abutalsafuba2179 14 күн бұрын
@DivineSeeker1 Allah is also a noun not just a proper noun. Literally means the God. The name Allah is understood to be a name by the fact that we can say 'Allahumma' which is to supplicate by Saying Allah. As grammatically saying 'Oh the God' is not possible. Also in the Quran Allah is used as a name as saying the God is not grammatically possible. And Allah's is the East and the West, therefore, whither you turn, thither is Allah's purpose; surely Allah is Ample-giving, Knowing. If you replace Allah with The God, the sentence is grammatically unsound.

In the "Islam and the West" speech, King Charles lll talked about the misunderstanding in the west about Islam. "If there is much misunderstanding in the West about the nature of Islam, there is also much ignorance about the debt our own culture and civilisation owe to the Islamic world. It is a failure which stems, I think, from the straitjacket of history which we have inherited. The medieval Islamic world, from Central Asia to the shores of the Atlantic, was a world where scholars and men of learning flourished. But because we have tended to see Islam as the enemy of the West, as an alien culture, society and system of belief, we have tended to ignore or erase its great relevance to our own history." On how Christianity can learn from Islam, he says: "Islam can teach us today a way of understanding and living in the world which Christianity itself is the poorer for having lost. At the heart of Islam is its preservation of an integral view of the Universe." He added that Islam refuses to "separate man and nature, religion and science, mind and matter, and has preserved a metaphysical and unified view of ourselves and the world around us."

The authors of the gospels were not the ones who were walking with Jesus according to Christian scholarship, who admit all authors of the gospels are anonymous. People were just writing about Jesus what they heard about Jesus. The authors of the gospels never claimed that they were witnesses. They never claim who they are. And they never claim any divine inspiration.

When he washes his hands, every sin that he committed with his hands will be washed away with the last drop of water. I'd feel utterly ashamed of a god that can get killed on a wooden peg. Who in their right mind wouldn't? The God of Abraham forgives all sins above His blessed Throne. He doesn't need to come down to Earth to make himself look like a clown and get tortured and die a discraceful pathetic death by his own creation. Qur'an 39:53. Say, "O My servants who have transgressed against themselves [by sinning], do not despair of the mercy of Allah. Indeed, Allah forgives all sins. Indeed, it is He who is the Forgiving, the Merciful."

God has no sons. The meaning of the term “Son of God” in the Old and New Testament. In the Bible, the term “Son of God” means a righteous servant of God. It does not mean literally divine son of God. The Oxford Dictionary of the Jewish Religion confirms that in Jewish idiom “Son of God” is clearly metaphorical. In previous Scriptures, pious believers were called “sons of God.” It was not only Jesus who was “son of God” in the bible; other Prophets were also called “son of God.” For example: David: Psalm 2:7. I will declare the decree: the Lord hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee. Solomon: 2 Samuel 7:13-14. He shall build an house for my name, and I will stablish the throne of his kingdom for ever. I will be his father, and he shall be my son. If he commit iniquity, I will chasten him with the rod of men, and with the stripes of the children of men: Adam: Luke 3:38. Which was the son of Enos, which was the son of Seth, which was the son of Adam, which was the son of God. God has no real son. Jesus, David, Solomon, etc. were only close servants of God

Paul was 100% a false apostle. All of Asia Minor rejected Paul. They complained to James about Paul that he was trying to make them end the Laws. When Paul arrives in Jerusalem, James questions Paul in Acts 21:21 about this complaint which the people of Asia Minor made. James made Paul do a nazarite vow in Acts 21:26, which included shaving his head and animal sacrifice. So they were still sacrificing animals long after Jesus. The people of Asia Minor came back to Jerusalem and seen Paul. They dragged him out of the temple and beat him up and nearly killed him in Acts 21:27-32 for preaching against the Law of Moses. The Roman guards came and took Paul away and jailed him. Paul then writes to Timothy and says all of those in Asia Minor had rejected him in 2 Timothy 2:15. After Paul dies, Jesus is speaking to the people of Asia Minor. The very people who rejected Paul. Jesus is praising them for rejecting false apostles in Revelation 1:20 and Revelation 2:1-2. The argument which no Christian can answer to is, why was Jesus praising the enemies of Paul who nearly killed him? If Paul was a true apostle, then Jesus would have rebuked them. But he was praising the very people who rejected Paul, proving Paul could never have been a true apostle. Jesus never mentioned Paul even once to them. Even Barnabas completely fell out with Paul. The church is hiding this as they know most Christians don't read Bible and are just blindfollowers.

They never killed Jesus. The matter of the fact that Jesus was praying, sweating and begging God to save him from his enemies in Matthew 26:39 and Luke 22:44, clearly shows he never wanted to die, and God heard his prayers and saved him as prophesied in the full Pslam 91 chapter and the following verses: Pslam 91:10-16. Because you have made the Lord your dwelling place- the Most High, who is my refuge- 10 no evil shall be allowed to befall you, no plague come near your tent. 11 For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways. 12 On their hands they will bear you up, lest you strike your foot against a stone. 13 You will tread on the lion and the adder; the young lion and the serpent you will trample underfoot. 14 “Because he holds fast to me in love, I will deliver him; I will protect him, because he knows my name. 15 When he calls to me, I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will rescue him and honor him. 16 With long life I will satisfy him and show him my salvation.” Pslam 18:3. I will call upon the LORD, who is worthy to be praised: so shall I be saved from mine enemies. Pslam 34:6. This poor man cried, and the Lord heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles. Pslam 34:19-20. 19. Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the Lord delivereth him out of them all. 20. He keepeth all his bones: not one of them is broken. Allah has promised the Paradise for the believers. Qur’an 41:30-32. 30. Indeed, those who have said, “Our Lord is Allah ” and then on a right course - the angels will descend upon them, [saying], “Do not fear and do not grieve but receive good tidings of Paradise, which you were promised. 31. We [angels] were your allies in worldly life and [are so] in the Hereafter. And you will have therein whatever your souls desire, and you will have therein whatever you request [or wish] 32. As accommodation from a [Lord who is] Forgiving and Merciful.” Qur'an 9:72. Allah has promised the believing men and believing women gardens beneath which rivers flow, wherein they abide eternally, and pleasant dwellings in gardens of perpetual residence; but approval from Allah is greater. It is that which is the great attainment.

Why are you are propagating lies? Just so you know, YHWH (יְהוָה) is mentioned twice in the Shema: *"Hear, O Israel, יְהוָה is our God, יְהוָה is One."* The God of Israel is YHWH and the Quran is talking of Allah. *_Who you gonna call?_*

God sent the Holy Spirit (Angel Gabriel) to the final Prophet, Mohammad, to deliver the message for all of mankind for our eternal salvation. Qur'an 2:97-98. 97. Say, "Whoever is an enemy to Gabriel - it is [none but] he who has brought the Qur'an down upon your heart, [O Muhammad], by permission of Allah , confirming that which was before it and as guidance and good tidings for the believers." 28. Whoever is an enemy to Allah and His angels and His messengers and Gabriel and Michael - then indeed, Allah is an enemy to the disbelievers. Qur'an 16:102. Say, the Holy Spirit has brought the revelation from thy Lord in Truth, in order to strengthen those who believe, and as a Guide and Glad Tidings to Muslims. Qur'an 26:192-193. 192. And indeed, the Qur'an is the revelation of the Lord of the worlds. 193. The Trustworthy Spirit has brought it down 194. Upon your heart, [O Muhammad] - that you may be of the warners -

The Bible says no one has ever seen God. And yet people saw Jesus. This again proves that Jesus cannot be God. Deuteronomy 4.12. Then the Lord spoke to you out of the fire. You heard the sound of words but saw no form; there was only a voice. Exodus 33.20. But,” he said, “you cannot see my face, for no one may see me and live.” 1 John 4.12. No one has ever seen God; 1 Timothy 1.17. Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only God, be honor and glory for ever and ever. Amen. 1 Timothy 6:15-16.15. which God will bring about in his own time-God, the blessed and only Ruler, the King of kings and Lord of lords, 16. who alone is immortal and who lives in unapproachable light, whom no one has seen or can see. To him be honor and might forever. Amen. Qur'an 6.103. No vision can grasp Him, but His Grasp is over all vision. Qur'an 7.143. And when Moses arrived at Our appointed time and his Lord spoke to him, he said, "My Lord, show me [Yourself] that I may look at You." [Allah] said, "You will not see Me, but look at the mountain; if it should remain in place, then you will see Me." But when his Lord appeared to the mountain, He rendered it level, and Moses fell unconscious. And when he awoke, he said, "Exalted are You! I have repented to You, and I am the first of the believers." .......

Jesus was a prophet and not god. The people living around him knew he was a prophet. Nobody called Jesus everlasting father, mighty god or prince of peace. John 4:19. 19 “Sir,” the woman said, “I can see that you are a prophet. Luke 24:19. “About Jesus of Nazareth,” they replied. “He was a prophet, Jesus even called himself a prophet. Luke 13:33. Nevertheless I must walk to day, and to morrow, and the day following: for it cannot be that a prophet perish out of Jerusalem.

All the Prophets were Muslims who submitted to the will of God: Qur’an 22:78. And strive for Allah with the striving due to Him. He has chosen you and has not placed upon you in the religion any difficulty. [It is] the religion of your father, Abraham. Allah named you “Muslims” before [in former scriptures] and in this [revelation] that the Messenger may be a witness over you and you may be witnesses over the people. Abraham: Qur’an 3:67. Abraham was neither a Jew nor a Christian, but he was one inclining toward truth, a Muslim [submitting to Allah]. And he was not of the polytheists. Jacob and his sons: Qur’an 2:132-133. 132. And Abraham instructed his sons [to do the same] and [so did] Jacob, [saying], “O my sons, indeed Allah has chosen for you this religion, so do not die except while you are Muslims.” 133. Or were you witnesses when death approached Jacob, when he said to his sons, “What will you worship after me?” They said, “We will worship your God and the God of your fathers, Abraham and Ishmael and Isaac - one God. And we are Muslims [in submission] to Him.” Joseph: Qur’an 21:101. My Lord, You have given me [something] of sovereignty and taught me of the interpretation of dreams. Creator of the heavens and earth, You are my protector in this world and in the Hereafter. Cause me to die a Muslim and join me with the righteous.” Disicples were Muslims too. Qur’an 3:52. But when Jesus felt [persistence in] disbelief from them, he said, “Who are my supporters for [the cause of] Allah?” The disciples said,” We are supporters for Allah. We have believed in Allah and testify that we are Muslims [submitting to Him]. Qur’an 5:111. And [remember] when I inspired to the disciples, “Believe in Me and in My messenger Jesus.” They said, “We have believed, so bear witness that indeed we are Muslims [in submission to Allah].” .

Jesus is NOT God. God is not a man: Hosea 11:9. for I am God, and not man; Peter said Jesus was only a man chosen by God: Acts 2:22. Ye men of Israel, hear these words; Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by him in the midst of you, as ye yourselves also know: Jesus prayed to God: Luke 6:12. And it came to pass in those days, that he went out into a mountain to pray, and continued all night in prayer to God. Jesus prostrated on the floor on his face praying to God, just as Muslims do. Matthew 26:39. And he went a little farther, and fell on his face, and prayed, Jesus said he has a God: John 17:3. Now this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent. John 20:17. Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God. Mark 12:29. And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord: Jesus said he can do nothing: John 5:30. I can of mine own self do nothing: Jesus said only God is good: Mark 10:18. And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God.

And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, John 5:30. I can of mine own self do nothing:

I presume that you are an evangelical christian and you believe in the doctrine of the trinity and vicarious atonement but not doing good works then you also believe as long as a man who rapes and murders your daughter and then repents and later on sin the same sin or a man rapes and murders your sister and then repents and later on sin the same sin or a man rape and murders your mother and then repents and later on sin the same sin or rapes and murders your wife and then repents and later on sin the same sin and evangelical christian still believes in the doctrine of the trinity and also believes that Jesus Christ died on the cross for his sins that he will be forgiven and will go to heaven and despite continuing to rape and murder innocent people but will still go to heaven as he still believe in the doctrine of the trinity and also as long as he still believes that Jesus died on the cross because you believe that this man is your evangelical christian brethren who you will embrace him but you also believe that good works are just like dirty rags according to your apostle Paul as your apostle Paul also said that faith alone believing that Jesus Christ died on the cross for your sins they you are forgiven and will go to heaven is your only salvation. According to christian evangelical theology, good works are the consequence of salvation and not its justification. They are the sign of a sincere and grateful faith. They include actions for the Great Commission, that is, Christian evangelism, service in the Church and charity. So Good works is a consequence but not a necessity for christian evangelical salvation. That if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved. ~Romans 10:9-10 You cannot be saved by your good works, because no matter how hard you try, your “good” is not good enough for the perfectly holy and completely righteous God who alone grants salvation. Nor can you be saved by your moral perfection-no matter how moral or how perfect you are. As the Old Testament prophet Isaiah points out, your righteousness is about as good as a “snot rag”. (Isaiah 64:6 ). I have actually cleaned that up a bit, because the Hebrew phrase for filthy rags, ukabeged ehdim, literally means, “like as rags of menstruation.” Sorry if that disgusts you, but it’s Scripture-so blame Isaiah. The point is, both our acts of righteousness, and the quality of righteousness that we hope they produce, are disgusting to God. So if you are disgusted by Isaiah’s language, think of how God, who inspired Isaiah to choose those coarse words, is repulsed by our efforts to get him to save us. So what hope, then, is there for our salvation? Well, frankly, no hope resides within us. None whatsoever. Ephesians 2:1 says “As for you, you were dead in your transgressions and sins.” That’s how hopeless we are apart from God’s work to save us. You see, all a dead person can do is lay there and be dead, let alone try to be righteous before God.
