اسلام علیکم I enjoyed your discussion about red cow. From study of Surah alBaqrah it’s very clear that some bad Jews at the time of Moses (PBUH) had developed a love for cow. First they asked Moses to produce a god like Brahmins whom they saw worshipping cow. Then when Moses went to the Mountain to receive Torah, they started worshipping a golden calf. When Moses came he was very angry, he burnt that calf and threw its dust in the river. But that love for cow did not disappear from their hearts because of their wrong doing as Quran clearly points out و اشربو فی قلوب العجل بکفرھم۔ Later they secretly decided to reverence to a very beautiful bull and hence they did not take any work from her. So when Allah ordered them to sacrifice the cow, they immediately knew what cow was meant to be sacrificed. However as usual due to their clever mentality they tried to trick Moses but more they asked Allah kept them pushing against the wall. Finally they had to sacrifice that reverend bull. But still those stupid guys thought sacrifice will bring some wrath. On the contrary its sacrifice brought blessings for them as it solved a murder case and hence bloodshed among their 12 tribes was averted. There is still love for cow is still in some Jews and term holy cow is common as well as some Jews wear a necklace with a picture of a bull engraved. Obviously because of lot of fabrications the true incident had been changed among them bright golden yellow became red and all other nonsense. One name of Quran is Mohimen meaning protector because it purifies and protects the truth about messengers (PBUT) as well as their messages. This is not my personal opinion only. Several esteemed Islamic scholars have the same opinion. Jazak Allah.

Be knowledgeable of jewish traditions. This has nothing to do with the yellow cow that Almighty Allah ordered them to slaughter during the time of prophet Moses (عليه السلام ). Don't link the brahmins of india to the ancient Biblical Israelites. Thres no contact between middle eastern culture & your indian hindus on that age. These rites of sacrificing ref heifers is jewish traditions and there's nothing in Islamic traditions that explains it, you know that in every Messenger they have their own set of rituals and laws given to them that are different from the others. Correction: اسلام عليكم is wrong, it should be السلام عليكم ... Or remove the ا and say instead: سلام عليكم..... (اسلام عليكم ) Reads as : islam alaykom and not assalamu alaykom. There's is ال there it is just silent because letter س (sin) is harful-sshamsiyyah... 😪😪😪😪

The incident in surah al baqarah regarding the yellow cow has nothing to do with red heifer sacrificed in the baytal maqdis(temple). This is a different ritual.. obviously the people of Prophet Moses have their own rituals and shariah in their torah... Don't link things that aren't linked.

Sheikh Hamza lots of things are not said in the Quran which were said in the previous Books , but that doesn't mean these things didn't happen ! Who is talking in the Quran in Surah Al Baqarah and saying Yellow cow , but in the Torah He is saying Red Heifer why is contradiction there ? In Surah Al Kahf it is said a story about Musa/Moses , but which Musa/Moses is that when in the Torah and in the Tanakh there is not such a story about prophet Musa/Moses ?

Whether they actually do or not, the members of the Temple Institute must believe that they have the ark of the covenant and at least have agreed on who the Moshiach is before they could reasonably attempt the rebuilding of the temple. The sacrifice of the red heifer(s) can occur any time before that as the ashes are used to make holy water for purification and can be used for a long time after the sacrifice. It is, however, strange that they bought so many backup heifers.

Yes , not all Christians but the "Evangelical" ones , they believe in something called "The Rapture" , they believe that in the second coming of Christ , many people will die , a very evil figure known as The Antichrist will appear and there will be chaos all over the world (known as The Armageddon) but before all these things starts to happen they believe Jesus will take their souls (those who believe in him) to heaven to save them , then he will back to earth to kill The Antichrist before the end of times etc , something along those lines , basically. The problem is , they want it to happen as fast as possible , so it's safe to say they want many people other than themselves to just "die". This belief is very popular in the US. However , as Muslim , we do not want to live in that particular times , because we know how hard the test would be in those days & age , the prophet Muhammad SAW said that Al-Masih ad-Dajjal (The Antichrist) will be the biggest test that God give to humanity. One of the test is that he will perform many miracles including raising people from the dead etc (through God's permission) exactly as Jesus peace be upon him did. The word "Kaffir" (Ka-Fa-Ra) which means "Disbeliever" in Arabic will be written on his forehead but only the true believers can see / read that whether they know Arabic or not . The second problem is , he will claim to be God Himself and the Christians already held the believe that God became a man , they would be like a low hanging fruits for The Antichrist. The Prophet Muhammad SAW said : He will be one eyed , interestingly Prophet Jesus peace be upon him also said : "You cannot serve two masters , you cannot worship both God and money at the same time" & now you can see that one eye on the 1$ bill (The Dajjal hasn't come yet , but the system to destroy humanity itself is already here , one of them is Money , and believe me , many people are preparing the world for his coming) This "one eye" of course can be both literal & symbolic , Muslims scholars held the belief that he (Dajjal) is indeed have two eyes , but one of his eye is suffer from some kind of sickness or something. And the Prophet Muhammad SAW said "Your Lord is not one eyed" meaning that "God is perfect , while the Antichrist is imperfect , yes he may perform many miracles but he couldn't even heal himself from that sickness in one of his eye , so when that man comes to you and claim to be God do not believe him because God is not a man & God is perfect". And he (Muhammad SAW) said that The Messiah Jesus Son of Mary will come as a just ruler & kill The Antichrist but he will NEVER claim to be God & he will "break the cross" means that he will repudiate & eradicate the belief that he died on a cross etc. He , The Messiah Jesus Son of Mary peace be upon him is a blessed man , not cursed . Yes , not all Christians but the "Evangelical" ones , they believe in something called "The Rapture" , they believe that in the second coming of Christ , many people will die , a very evil figure known as The Antichrist will appear and there will be chaos all over the world (known as The Armageddon) but before all these things starts to happen they believe Jesus will take their souls (those who believe in him) to heaven to save them , then he will back to earth to kill The Antichrist before the end of times etc , something along those lines , basically. The problem is , they want it to happen as fast as possible , so it's safe to say they want many people to die. This belief is very popular in the US. However , as Muslim , we do not want to live in that particular times , because we know how hard the test would be in those days & age , the prophet Muhammad SAW said that Al-Masih ad-Dajjal (The Antichrist) will be the biggest test that God give to humanity. One of the test is that he will perform many miracles including raising people from the dead etc (through God's permission) exactly as Jesus peace be upon him did. The word "Kaffir" (Ka-Fa-Ra) which means "Disbeliever" in Arabic will be written on his forehead but only the true believers can see / read that whether they know Arabic or not . The second problem is , he will claim to be God Himself and the Christians already held the believe that God became a man , they would be like a low hanging fruits for The Antichrist. The Prophet Muhammad SAW said : He will be one eyed , interestingly Prophet Jesus peace be upon him also said : "You cannot serve two masters , you cannot worship both God and money at the same time" & now you can see that one eye on the 1$ bill (The Dajjal hasn't come yet , but the system to destroy humanity itself is already here , one of them is Money , and believe me , many people are preparing the world for his coming) This "one eye" of course can be both literal & symbolic , Muslims scholars held the belief that he (Dajjal) is indeed have two eyes , but one of his eye is suffer from some kind of sickness or something. And the Prophet Muhammad SAW said "Your Lord is not one eyed" meaning that "God is perfect , while the Antichrist is imperfect , yes he may perform many miracles but he couldn't even heal himself from that sickness in one of his eye , so when that man comes to you and claim to be God do not believe him because God is not a man & God is perfect". And he (Muhammad SAW) said that The Messiah Jesus Son of Mary will come as a just ruler & kill The Antichrist but he will NEVER claim to be God & he will "break the cross" means that he will repudiate & eradicate the belief that he died on a cross etc. He , The Messiah Jesus Son of Mary peace be upon him is a blessed man , not cursed . When you really think about it, the plan of Iblis and his minions in preparing the world to accept the arrival of the Dajjal is incredibly complex and intricate. And he does all of this knowing that his plan will ultimately be destroyed by Allah but he truly utilizes the long life promised to him by Allah to prepare everything.

Alsalam aleik, there are some traditions in jewdism and similarly in Christianity and Islam that resemble Pagan traditions. Paganism (Begh= a pries of Mehran temple) predates all known religions and was practiced for thousands of years. As much as I respect the brother, I cannot agree with his conclusion, there are a lot of assumptions being made. The concept of blood offering and burnt offering is practice captures in Jewish theology. Agreed that it could be corrupted but the Quran not providing details does not mean it was not a theological practice

This is a good discussion, I think modern Muslim scholars have reasonably realized that relying on violence to promote or enforce Islam can never work, instead, it would further create complicated atmospheres. The most effective way to pass truth across humans hearts, is through productive debates and dialogues.

Some (not all) religious leaders have used intimidation, or threats in attempting to impose religion on their subjects; from immediate family members, neighbors, to even friends. Well, I hope more scholars continue to emphasize "PEACE" as a viable tool to promote religion.
