The Open Market City: La Cañada Flintridge (Pt.2)

After releasing the previous video I made in La Cañada Flintridge, I decided to return and see what else I could find. I made two trips in December 2018. The first was to the Thursday route and the second was to the Monday route on Christmas eve. This video is combined footage from both trips.
For those of you who don't know, the City of La Cañada Flintridge is an open market for residential trash collection. The residents can choose from three companies: Athens Services, NASA Services, or Allied Waste Services (Republic Services must operate under Allied Waste in the city.) Allied Waste has the most homes in the city with Athens Services having the second most and NASA Services having the least.
Quite a bit has changed on the Allied Waste side since I last filmed here in June 2018. Two new CNG Peterbilt 520 McNeilus ZRs and two new CNG Peterbilt 520 Heil FLs with the Curroto Can collect here now. Athens Services and NASA Services seem to be the same since last time.

Awesome video. LCF is the only city in the San Fernando Valley to have three garbage companies a resident can choose. Great to see the variety of trucks from three companies.

I'm actually not so sure anymore but it is a requirement under the contract they have up here. The ZR had an AW sticker somewhere I just can't remember where it was Haha.

That system its to slow & and a lot of effort for drivers. ! They need - companies side loaders - invest $ . Cheap companies .
