If you could do a duet with Dimash someday, how great that would be!! Another wonderful video, Julija! Always fun, and I always learn many things! Your words about genius of simplicity are so true, even seemingly complex solos such as Paganini, Chopin, great jazz solos, etc can be broken down into simple components. "Dimash screamed" - haha, yes I think this song is the closest he's done so far to a style called either neoclassical or symphonic or operatic metal. The "scream" he did is typical of the "clean" (versus "dirty") singers in that style. I worked a little in this genre when I was younger; there are some very good ones out there, even some who have some bel canto training, but Dimash blew them all away - of course!🔥🔥🔥🙂

@@3912James Well, he does play a little guitar - his main stringed instrument is the traditional Kazakh Dombra. He plays 7 instruments, as far as I know. But we were talking about the extremely high vocal notes at the end of this song, where his voice mimics an electric rock guitar, playing a solo.

Рад снова увидеть Вас на просторах интернета , дорогая Юлия ! Вашего профессионального анализа ждёт ещё много шедевров вокала Димаша и , в том числе , актуальное - We are one . Я впервые за мои 80 лет уже четвёртый год почти ежедневно слушаю Димаша ( об этом пишут и тысячи блогеров из разных стран ) , хоть я и меломан , но прежде " за мной такого не наблюдалось " . Для объективизации своих впечатлений ( я юрист ) пытаюсь слушать и иных , ранее любимых певцов и певиц , но ... возвращаюсь к Димашу ! Как мне кажется , есть в его голосе какая - то скрытая магия , особенно на верхнем регистре , потому хочется , если сочтёте возможным , прочитать Ваше профессиональное мнение о том , что скрывается за этим явлением : массовый психоз , болезненная эмоциональность или давно известное в музыке ( или акустике ?) явление ? Ещё одна " странность " вокала Димаша состоит в том , что , как мне кажется , Димаш каким - то образом переводит текст песни на язык вокала , после чего его слушателям нет никакой необходимости вслушиваться в слова текста , уже достаточно только слушать вокал . Даже не зная текста Day break , слушая его полный драматизма вокал , я импульсивно хватался за сердце ( как и более молодые !) , дыхание затруднялось , на глазах появлялись " скупые мужские слёзы " - и это повторяется и после трёхсотого прослушивания этой композиции !!! Но вот в " Священной войне " я слышу только слова , а музыка уходит на второй план ... А вот в творчестве Димаша слова текста уходят на второй план , а зрители слушают его вокальный перевод и испытывают восторг и эмоциональное потрясение . Это явление я давно назвал " вокальной агрессией Димаша на наши беззащитные перед ним души " Кстати , при первом прослушивании Димаша нам была заметна и Ваша реакция на эту " агрессию "... Желаю успехов Вам и Вашему каналу !

Однозначно что-то происходит с нашей психикой и восприятием. Ведь многие говорят, что слушая Димаша у них появляются мурашки, кого-то бросает в жар или холод, кто-то плачет или смеётся. Лично меня пробивает электрический ток. Его голос постоянно живёт в моём сознании. Удивительно, что только слушать не достаточно, нужно видеть его. Я была на его концерте. Тот кто был - знает какая энергия излучается от Димаша. Жить без него просто невозможно. Все мысли заняты как попасть на его следующий концерт.

От разных людей слышу, что такие таланты рождаются раз в сто лет, кто-то говорит - раз в тысячу лет. Но многие музыканты сходятся во мнении, что Димаш - это явление, которое ещё будут изучать. И что такого не было никогда. Значит, нам повезло быть его современниками. Когда-то человек впервые покорил космос, появилось электричество, радио, мне всегда было интересно, что ощущали простые люди, которые были свидетелями таких открытий? А теперь - мы свидетели и современники явления в мире музыки, которое войдёт в историю музыки, а может, и в историю человечества.

the composer had to show the song to dimash by making 3 singers sing: baritone, tenor and soprano. And he said that Dimash sang it well on the first try. This song is definitely better lived with you. Bravo

Julija, aaah, how I love your reactions! The way you explain about that sense of the energy of immortality, of being part of something bigger - I see how you feel that in music. How wonderful it is that we have you to help us understand and appreciate the music better! I had noticed the simplicity of the melody in this piece straight away, but it has a contradiction of the lyrics to the tune, so when he sings "to light" he goes very deep, it's so dramatic and unexpected.. But immediately next phrase brings that incredible feeling of power and traveling through space. What astonishes here is that he seems to have reached a climax already when does that incredible octave leap at the end, it literally catapults one into the stratosphere! What a majestic sight it is to see him singing those last notes, his arms sweeping the width of the Universe! Transformative music!

I am learning so much from you. I've been a songwriter for decades and love country, blues, rock....Dimash is my favorite singer now. Listening to you I'm struck by the concept of simple genius....country music has Merle Haggard, called Poet of the Common Man, and his genius was writing sings simply but so relatable and beautiful. In blues, we have artists like BB King...who takes a motif and expands more and more....like preaching a sermon, coming back to the simple theme and then expanding into an epic building climax ...and bringing us back to earth. L’analisi dal punto di vista tecnico è ottima, si capisce che è fatta da una persona molto competente. Tuttavia dovresti fare qualcosa per migliorare la qualità dell’audio perché è mortificante del tuo lavoro. È strano che il risultato sia così penalizzante perché a giudicare dal microfono la strumentazione che avete è professionale. Anche il pc credo sia un macbook. Forse il problema è a valle...in ogni caso c’è un rumore di sottofondo fastidioso e la qualità del suono del video di Dimash è veramente insoddisfacente, sembra una vecchia cassetta anni 80...anche la dinamica è compressa. Detto ciò, Dimash è incomparabile, un dono della genetica unico nel panorama musicale contemporaneo e passato.

I sincerely hope you post some of your work as well. If you have an epic play list you must have an epic voice as well 😉 I really love your videos. You are so creative in the symbolism in the breakdown of your coverage in Salmutau from Dimash. I really really enjoyed it. I am not a musician, but I am an artist (painter) so I appreciate the complexity of all the different layers that you add; not just explaining only vocals. I DO enjoy the vocal breakdown to as I did classical vocal training for close to ten years when I was young. However I have had several really bad trachea injuries and have more of a “shower singing” voice now. I have found a great love in my painting, however I am addicted to Dimash and the perfection of his voice like I never have been in all of my 50 years. It’s puzzling to me, to be honest. Lol
