still don't understand the decision to remove this theme from wall market. the reggae beat just fit the mood that wall market had. it was a shady, creepy area that looked like it was more than just simply entertainment. the new wall music isn't bad but Imo doesn't fit the mood, just sounds like some happy festival music.

I found it fit better than I expected it to. I played the Midgar section of the original several months before the Remake and I have to say that I prefer the Remake's take on the music being super festive and jovial since literally the entire place is meant to be that for the common folk while all the underground shady stuff was much more hidden. Everything else going on just felt questionable rather than in your face "this is a bad neighborhood" sort of vibe. Gives off a better juxtaposition when you start looking into the more seedy side of things that no one really challenges. That and the original's activities didn't exactly fit the music theme of Wall Market. It makes it sound shady and ominous but most of what you do there is pretty goofy. I mean, yeah, I knew the place was shady but most of everything we did in the original can be eloquently summed up as "dicking around". Some of what we did was important but boy did I lose that sense of criminal underworld quick the more time I spent doing stuff. I liked it but I prefer the Remake's choice to move some music tracks around
