You can’t look at it as the new owners putting a value on how Halo meant so much for OG to have. The only value they care about is ROI like you said. We are far from the old OpTic in my opinion were things were done through Hecz’s friendships and loyalty to one another.

What you're all facing right now is just growing pains that face every small organization that's absorbed by a larger, corporate-style organization. It's always really difficult for everyone involved. With cooperation and open communication from all sides, you'll get through it and come out better for it. That doesn't mean the process is going to be easy - just that it does get progressively better as all learn how to pull together.

I mean, the Ninja and Drake was definitely a marketing thing. That doesn't make it less cool, it's never happened at that level before. It means gaming is at that point where it's worth it to someone of Drake's stature to cross market with Ninja. That being said, Thorin and Richard know what their image is and what gets the views. It's not writing the same generic article about it like everyone else, they look for a viewpoint on it that will generate views and discussion.
