What basically happened is that OpTic died for hundreds of thousands of people. The content and its personalities were everything for so many people. They might have arrived at OpTic because of the esports, but it wasn't what made them stay so many years.

I'd say so. I'd recommend reading Waking Up by Sam Harris, or Meditation for Fidgety Skeptics: A 10% Happier How-To Book by Dan Harris to learn more about it and its benefits. Sam Harris has a course of sorts called the Waking Up Course (only on iOS as of right now, android apparently coming soon). It's an app on your phone that has lessons on it and guided meditation by Sam himself.
