Episode 51, the birth of lucy kick, one of the iconic attacks of fairy tail and lucy, I can't wait for episode 58 where that iconic spell appears. This episode develops the relationship between Lucy and her father, we learn why Lucy is called Lucy and that Lucy is already capable of summoning 4 golden key spirits in succession. These are the reasons why I love Lucy's character, we see a constant progression in her and she is very important ❤

While I do look forward to these next two arcs, I'm hyped for who is introduced right after. The Gildarts debut was crazy fun! Excited to see what they think of it. Lucy is not the MC in this show. It's not one of those show, she's more like the story teller of the show. 9:42 Wellz, another foreshadow, it's good you saw it. Fairy Tail adds too much distraction that people miss stuff like this.

Fairy Tail is one of those shows that really have multiple MCs. Natsu, Lucy, Gray, and Erza are really all MC in their own rights

@@andrewl1357 Yup, episodic shows like this should have more MC since the world is too big just for one. But they do need someone as the reporter (Lucy) of the story, telling it so it doesn't create too much plots & chaos.

She is the MC. Natsu is the protagonist. Gray and Erza are supporting characters. Definition of protagonist is the person who drives the plot forward. MC is the person who is most affected by the plot. Typically, they are the same character, but not always.

@@SleepyStreak I guess I need to add context. Watch what Wellz said in responds to the other guys dissing Lucy. Wellz sees Lucy as the only MC (protagonist) of this whole show. Protagonist is the MC, I watched this show ages ago, it doesn't follow the western 3-story structure to the teeth. Also this is a bit contradicting; "protagonist is the person who drives the plot forward. MC is the person who is most affected by the plot." The Show does focus on Natus, but not everything in this show is about Natsu or Lucy, the story is about their experience & the guild from the main members' point of view, that the writer chose to tell the story from to avoid confusion. that's why it's call "Fairy Tail." Labeling Lucy as the only MC is open for interpretation, but some will say Natus is the MC not Lucy. Plots are events that drive the story. The last 3 arcs were about Gray, Lucy & Erza's backstory, not just Lucy (she was a witness). And the ones that were affected most during the Tower of Heaven were Natsu & Gray, since they were closer to Erza than Lucy. Lucy: Main female MC Erza: 2nd Female MC Natsu: Main Male MC Gray: 2nd Male MC Spoiler....I'm not going to list future members. But this is the order. Lucy is always the one guiding the viewers to plots specific to the crew & the guild. I interpret it in that way for the same reason you said Lucy is the MC & Natsu is the protagonist, because the creator left it open for such interpretation.
