I literally live down the street but other than visiting my parents in LA, I haven't left my house in 4 months because I'm immunocompromised. I bought my first "ten-speed" bike from Orange Cycle when I was about 15. I saved up my babysitting money and used the bike to travel to River Trails Stable on the Santa Ana River to ride my horse. I had a wonderful childhood growing up in Orange.

There's this pressure to be creative to pass the time, but there's so much going on lately with family & friends to keep me from doing so. I would like to make a suggestion to everyone eating at these outdoor eating areas, please ask your servers to bring everything you need to drink at one time, and any sides,sauces, to be brought out at the same time. The servers have to walk/ run 2 or 3 time farther than normal. Be kind to your server and tip well.

You are absolutely right, Adam. At these times, it is important to stay active. Just sitting at home will slow you down, physically and in your mind, up to the point where you actually don't want to get up and move anymore. I know what I'm talking about. I'm a writer (pro, published, that's how I make a living) and I was nearing that point where I didn't want to do anything anymore because I actually started to like the current situation of socially distancing and using it as an excuse, like "Well, I'll be at home tomorrow, too, so whatever I could do/write today I can just as well do tomorrow". And so on ... And slowly but surely, I felt like I actually was not ABLE anymore to come up with anything. So beware of those early stages! As I said, you're doing the right thing. Keep doing it and we'll be here waiting, watching and listening. Take care, buddy.

traci hilbers I’m an interior designer based in upstate ny and have always dreamt about working in the film industry. I applied to Chapman University Dodge College and AFI for production design last year and was accepted into their graduate programs. I decided on going to Dodge based on the facilities the campus provided and the surrounding area of Orange felt better to me than Los Angeles. I actually got some scholarships and a pretty good financial aid package for the school so I hope that will be the same case for next year because film school is pricey. I’m glad your daughter is making movies even if she doesn’t decide to go to film school in the future. Experience and being creative whether in or outside of school will always be a benefit for a filmmaker. I wish the best for her!

Either spelling of “bleu” or “blue” cheese is correct. Bleu is the French spelling of Blue. It does refer to the color of the penicillin mold in the cheese, which can be quite blue in color. It’s a generic name for any cheese that contains the penicillin mold. Gorgonzola is also a blue cheese.
