The Order is making its way to theaters, presenting Star Wars: Skeleton Crew star Jude Law in a very different role. A period piece, the film sees the rise of a white supremacist terrorist group, and as Law has addressed, there are themes from the movie that are unfortunately still relevant today.
To help promote the release of The Order on Dec. 6, Law spoke about the film with CBR's Kevin Polowy. In the movie, Law plays Terry Husk, an FBI agent looking to take down a white nationalist group led by Nicholas Hoult's Bob Mathews. The actor commented on how important it was for director Justin Kurzel and the filmmakers to accurately reflect the state of racism in the United States four decades ago, as that would help generate discussion about how these kinds of groups are still present in the real world in 2024.
