Hi! I had the exact reaction you have and the second time it foamed up to a light pink while rubbing it in my face but i didnt feel any kind of stinging at all except on my neck. I ordered mine this week. You may want to apply a Rose Oil. night gel and a night moisturizer after the acid peel which will work better while you are sleeping. I have Eight Saints am and pm skin care, however, I have omitted the day drum for getting rid of dead skin cells and added the Ordinary Acid peel to use once a week I don't have facial skin problem but want to attack my fine lines. I've been so timid to use this product . I bought it like 3 weeks ago and still haven't used it as yet. I use Ponds moisturizer, I'm assuming that would be ok to use. I was wondering if I could spray rose water after the peel and if I can also use Vitamin E oil to moisturize?

Don't be nervous.. Just apply a thin layer and leave it on for maybe 2-3 min and then rinse off and see how your skin does and if you see no irritation then the next time you use it add an extra minute or two. You should patch test this before applying to the face just to make sure you don't have any allergies or sensitive to it... Keep your skin hydrated afterwards and wear an SPF during the day and you should be fine.

It really depends on your skin type but I would use a gentle hydrating cleanser like the Cerave Hydrating Cleanser and yes you could use any type of moisturizer afterwards. Keep in mind, if your moisturizer has acids or retinol in it it's possible that you could experience dryness or even irritation when used with the peeling solution.

You can use this one or two day's out of the week alone with no other acids/retinols/retinoids or vitamin c. The nights you don't use the peeling solution you can use a retinoid and yes you can use niaciaimide afterwards.

Shaz Jazz I suffer from sebaceous hyperplasia (flesh colored bumps) all over my face. I use a 2% Salicylic acid toner in the AM, The Ordinary Peeling solution twice a week at night and Differin gel the rest of the week. I always hydrate and Moisturize my skin with peptides and oclusives. If I stop the exfoliation the bumps get worse.

Aw thank youuuu🤗 Of course you can use a toner (it should be gentle with no acids in it) and your moisturizer is perfect afterwards. IF you find your skin feels tight and you want to add more hydration then I would suggest using a hydrating mask but it's not necessary.

Aw thank you, that means a lot! You can of course start using the AHA + BHA even if you haven't used acids before but please keep in mind this Peeling Solution is very high strength compared to regular acid serums. I would do a "patch test" before applying this to your face and leave it on for a few minutes or the full 10min and see how your skin does. If you see no irritation then apply it to your face but I wouldn't recommend leaving it on for the full 10 minutes for the first few times. I would leave it on for 3-5 min rinse off and see how your skin does over the days and judge from there. Start with one day a week and no more than 2 times per week once your skin is accustomed to the product...

Thank you! I have only used the 5% Lactic Acid. This one of course is a little stronger so if I was using it on my skin I would use it twice a week at night. I also use Retin-A so using the lactic acid twice a week is all I would do. If your skin is used to lactic acid and you don't use any other acids you can use it every night.

Hi, what do you use for extra hydration? I use hyaluronic acid with moisturizer but I feel like that’s not enough with all the actives I use. I have a dry patch on my chin that’s only visible when I put my foundation on. I don’t know what it is? I have tried so many different primer and foundations but my face gets cakey and pores become more visible. I use tretinion 0.1% three nights a week. Vitamin C 20% every morning . My daughter has very oily skin, with cystic acne, she uses glytone acne clearing cleaner, toner, 3p gel, and acne tinted spot treatment, obagi vit C in the morning and differin at night, with Elta moisturizer and their tinted spf. It all depends if you have sensitivities to acids and Retinols. If you don't then yes, you could use your AHA + BHA one night and then the other night use your Retinol. I would wait several days in between before using the AHA + BHA as you should only use it one to two days a week. Maybe use AHA + BHA on Sunday and lets say use it again on Wednesday?

You can use the Niacinamide and then a moisturizer afterwards but I wouldn’t recommend the buffet as that is your peptides and the AHA + BHA conflicts with it.

If you're using a Retin-A everyday then you really don't need to use the AHA + BHA. Just use a mild exfoliate to remove the surface dead skin and that should be sufficient. I don't use Retin-A everyday so I do like to use the AHA + BHA one day a week but since you use it everyday I don't think I would use it.

Would someone do this one one night, lactic the next, glycolic the next? Seems there is not enough days in the week to use them all! I want the saly acid mask but don’t know when I could do that! I am having a hard time finding this info out!

each acid is intended for different issues, and if not compatible with your skin may cause more harm than good. Lactic Acid/Glycolic Acid are both chemical exfoliants. Lactic Acid is much gentler than Glycolic, as Glycolic is some of the harshest it gets, so avoid Glycolic if you have sensitive skin. Don’t do any of these acids more than twice a week, it can irritate and strip your skin if used too often. Trial and Error until you find one that’s good for your skin, then try to stick to that one. Less is more, and applying acids if varying levels every day isnt a good idea. Always follow up with a moisturizer, and use them all at NIGHT.

Danielle has some really good points. Which acids do you have right now? The AHA + BHA should only be used once or twice a week. A Glycolic acid can be used every night if your skin is accustomed to acids already and that you can tolerate to a glycolic acid (of course don't use any other type of acid combined with the AHA + BHA). You honestly don't need all the acids that are on the market. Just use the ones that would benefit your skin based on your skins concerns. The Salicylic Mask can be used one or two days per week but if you are using the AHA + BHA already then maybe do one use each once a week leaving a few days in between..

When I use the AHA + BHA peeling solution it lathers up like soap up my face. Is this normal? I’m not rubbing it in hard. I am also making sure that I rinse my face well after cleansing. I use this twice a week and use 10% glycolic acid twice a day. My skin is clear and my wrinkles are GONE. I had puffy underyes with little fine lines and tiny bumps....they are completely gone.

Hmmm I am not 100% certain on that. I know pregnant and breastfeeding women shouldn't use Retinol but you may want to contact the Ordinary and ask them directly.

Yes that would be fine assuming their skin can handle a strong product like this. Make sure SPF is being used during the day.

You can mix all of these together with the AHA + BHA other than the Lactic Acid. Don't mix acids with acids. Instead, alternate them on different nights of the week.

It really depends on how many acids there is and where they are in the "ingredient list" if it's within the first 6 ingredients then you know there is a good amount of acid in the moisturizer. It also depends on how your skin tolerates to acids as well... I would use a gentle hydrating moisturizer if I am using the peeling solution but you know your skin best.

There is no fragrance but there is a natural faint scent to it but it's very minor if not anything at all.. Oh I know I wish they still sold this in Canada, about a year ago Canada changed their regulations on certain products with their high strength of retinol that they no longer sell them here. It's very frustrating for sure..

I personally wouldn't use different strong acids together. If I am going to use my AHA + BHA that is the only acid I am using that day in that routine.. The next day is fine to use your exfoliating toner but if you have sensitivities to strong acids then just leave a few days in between before using another type of acid.

The cleanser, Tonic, serium or moisturizer. I use the water based ones. There are few videos to learn which products to use. I finally understood that you must learn a bit before starting but to start, I recommend you to use just 3 things, the cleanser, the buffet, hyaluronic acid and the moisturizer. Hope this helps.

I am new to at home peels. I've only had these types of serums applied by an esthetician. Now, with this said does anyone know how I could rotate the use of something like this at home say 1x every other week, and then still incorporate my every 5 week microderm facials? Like should I space this out by a 2 or 3 week rotation. Meaning I do this at home peel week one of the month and then don't get microderm until week 4 of the month? I don't want to irritate my skin!

I think it's best if you ask your aesthetician this question since you are seeing her pretty often for the Microderm facials. I would suggest using this maybe a week or two after you have had your Microderm facial and then maybe a few weeks later that will be the time to see your aesthetician again. It really comes down to how sensitive your skin is to products like these.

Thank you. You could or you could apply your favourite serum like a Hyaluronic Acid for hydration and then your moisturizer afterwards.. You could also apply a face oil like Rose Hip Seed Oil or Squalane and then your moisturizer afterwards.

The peeling solution should be used once or twice a week. If you want to use other types of acids on the other days you can just be careful as you don't want to over exfoliate your skin as this may cause irritation and dryness.

I have personally never used the DE Baby Facial and only had a sample of the Framboos. I would say this AHA + BHA is different to the Framboos but not sure about the Baby Facial. You can use your baby facial but leave several days in between each acid treatment.

WARNING! DO NOT DRIP THIS ON YOUR FOREHEAD AT ALL! It is a great risk that it can go into your eyes and then you guys are in a big trouble. This is Dangerous for your eyes. If that happens go to the EU and let professionals rinse this acid out or it can harm your eyes. I am a nurse have been working in the intensive care myself I once had % Retinol from Ordinary in my eye and it is strongly recommended that you let professionals rinse your eyes, so I did. So never let acids or whatever run like that on your forehead. Be very careful with all that you put in your face to not put it to close to the eyes, bc oils they tend to crawl or move a bit further on your skin. Put it in your hands or use the fingertips for the forehead. Your eyes are precious and retimol, retinaldehydes and Rhetinoids who are the strongest and extra dangerous along with the acids though all of them can burn your sensive eyes. It's not recommended. The AHA 30% + BHA 2% is strong enough that you don't need a separate Glycolic Toner. Of course you can do what works for you but I wouldn't combine the two in the same routine.
