Thank you, i am so greatful for these teaching of scripture alone . It is the power unto salvation and knowing that it is God alone by his mercy he opens the heart makes me more greatful for salvation because it helps me understand predestination. And im baffled he would choose me someone who rejected him

So true, when I was 18, having been raised in a Atheist household, I always had a desire but my mom wouldn’t let me read, finally at 18 I read Matthew, and it was alive, like a knife cutting through my soul, I believed and was saved. I think about that, why me, or how blessed am that and IM NO BETTER THAN ANYONE, Amazing Grace, growing up “Church terms” were embarrassing, for weak strange people, now I was one, and am, what else could we possibly want? We have EVERYTHING, in a little while we’ll be with the Lord

@@Joyyarns what does that mean bible narrative? bible only speaks that it is God who picks and chooses who will be saved out of the good pleasure of his will. So esp 2: 8 and 9 says its not of him who has free will. So men are robots?

@@The300ZXGuru Few issues you stated, it seems you're against these ideas or you're looking for an answer to these things. You say paradox, as to assume these are truths that don't contradict but seem to be contrary and you are right for saying so. These doctrines are outside of our full understanding but they are plainly given so we can understand a mystery of divine sovereignty and human responsibility. You say "free volition" but no one has intrinsically free volition except for God who can freely operate outside of presumptions and predispositions. Bible narrative is the whole storyline of Scripture that is summed up in Creation, Fall, Redemption, Restoration/Consummation. The Bible speaks of God's work in redemption of a people to Himself for His glory. God sovereignly acts within the life of humanity directly or indirectly therefore being the Lord of all yet responsible for no evil. Men 'freely' choose to do as they please/want/desire. Their nature disposition though is always sin apart from the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit given to them by grace through faith.

God is all knowing, all powerful, sovereign over all creation while not confined by it. God is outside of time and space, His creation, and although He gave us free will, He knows all of history from outside of time, He knows what we will choose before we do since we are constrained by time. Thus events can be put in place by God to accomplish His will even though we have free will to a degree. God, through His prophets, although knowing what the Hebrew people would choose, offered the choice between repentance and calamity so as to fulfill all righteousness. They then could not say they were not offered salvation when their choices led them into captivity and desolation. The same is true for us all, condemned already by sin, and offered repentance or calamity by accepting or rejecting Jesus Christ as Lord by faith.

@@DaihoanXbox Mr Hoan what you just stated is yes we are robots. Let me explain when a virus enters a computer it is programed to do exactly what the virus tells it to do within those parameters. correct? so our HD(heart) is got the virus(sin) on it then it can only choose to do what the virus tells the heart to choose which is sin. So mans inability to chose God does not exists but yet the bible tells us that whomsoever believes will be saved! is there is difference in belief? RC Sproul talks about a saving grace don't know what that means either. So to me the only logical outcome of these passages one can conclude is that the holy spirit must change a persons heart of stone to a heart of flesh and then can freely choose God. So therefore a person must be regenerated first then receive the gift of eternal life correct? If this is what you are saying to be correct then how can God find fault in us if he didn't chose us?

The Holy Spirit it's Jesus in us not another person. To be in Jesus it's to be in is Spirit who dwell in us.Rom.8:9 You, however, are not in the realm of the flesh but are in the realm of the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God lives in you. And if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, they do not belong to Christ. (Spirit of God= Spirit of Christ= Holy Spirit God is Holy and Spirit AND TRUTH and was always worship as the Spirit of thruth but never as three persons.

Very well stated. Roughly; "If they should say i am Him, do not believe it. If the crowd points to declare ""there he is, that is the christ", don't believe them. Etc.. I would ask, why would Jesus return as a man (if matt and luke translated the Q properly) after saying to NOT believe them should it be said that ""I" had returned? The Spirit of Truth in Word is the Spirit of Christ. Christ is within you and without also Me. Like you said and i agree. Christ has returned already. So many will never get this Truth. It is written so it is.
