I have been a fan of the Ordinary and NIOD brands for two years now and have been incorporating more and more of their products as I learn more. I have been curious about the amino acids, but wasn't sure how to incorporate them into my routine. I would love to try this one ❤❤ especially because I NEED the hydration! I always overlook this product, because it doesn't sound very exciting, but I'll give it a try. About retinoids: they are oil soluble so they will penetrate skin even through layers of other skincare. Oil soluble ingredients penetrate the skin barrier a lot easier than water soluble ones.

Very new here and new to The Ordinary too. I've only been using the Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% along with the Squalane. Also just received the Salicylic Acid 2% Masque. Can't wait to try that! When I saw this notification... first thought was I was hoping you would explain the latic acid 10% + HA serum, I'm at a lost with this product. It still still stings and it's been weeks, maybe it's my double cleansing or the Ordinary's Toner at night but I just don't know where this fits in. The Amino Acids + B5 would replace a lot of other products in my nighttime routine. Giving it the same benefits at lower price point.

Are you using the lactic acid with the glycolic acid toner? If so, don't use these two together as this can be very harsh on the skin which could cause more dryness and irritation... I may do a video on a routine using a lactic acid but in the mean time you can use that lactic acid in this skincare routine just eliminate the retinol product... It does take time for acids to acclimate to your skin so give it time and don't over use the product.. Keep your skin as hydrated as possible especially after applying the acid..

Thank you for this video. I been using The Ordinary products for a little over a year now, their really great. I use the Amino acid and the Niacinamide a lot. The Amino Acid works really well if u ever abuse yr skin barrier like I did, it helps quickly to repair it, i use it with my moisturizer when this happens. I use their Retinol products and Retinoid 2% and 5,% I alternate between these two products. I have a lot of The Ordinary products and love them, the work nicely and most of all they r affordable. That for me is a plus cause I'm on a fix budget. Again thanks for sharing.

I adore the ordinary! I wish my skin was as tolerant as yours. I've never been able to use both the buffet and a retinoid on the same night without serious irritation oh, so I have to alternate nights with them. I'm very interested in trying the argiriline. Arbutin has done wonders for my melasma! Even after using differin for a year, unfortunately I burned my skin with the 1% retinol in squalane from to. It's clearly a very strong product and I tried on multiple occasions to make it work for me but never could. Thank you for this great video!

Hello there ! I have recently purchased ordinary and been using in routine cleanser, hyaluronic acid+B5 , Caffeine solution Natural Moisturizing + HA And yesterday I added Lactic Acid 10%+HA and Vitamin C suspension 23%+HA spheres 2% I don’t know how I should use them or mix them or not mix them ? Hi Ash! I’d love to win the Amino Acids serum because I have several products from TO that I really like, but I haven’t tried this one! I live in Arizona and my skin gets so dry. So I just wanted your help by you confirming that my routine that I created is okay to mix. pm routine ; 1) cerave sa cleanser. 2) Paula’s choice 2% liquid exfoliant. 3) niacinamide 10% + zinc 1%. 4) cerave moisturizer. My favorite beauty KZbinr , I love to see you introduce the effect of the ordinary usage, so I hope you can answer my question. I have serious Pigmentation( staying up late )on my cheek, and acne marks on my entire face, with large pores. In addition my age almost 40, dry skin is getting more and more serious. Currently I want to solve the problem of uneven skin, and I am thinking about buying "The ordinary Glycolic Acid 7% Toning Solution" OR "The Ordinary AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution ". Which product do you think is more suitable for me? Or other suggestions? Thank you, and love all your videos!

Aw thank you so much 🥰 If you are not already using the Alpha Arbutin I would pick that up as this will help to lighten pigmentation over time.. A Vitamin C will also help with this skin concern as well so I would be incorporating that also every morning... As for the acids, either one would be good but you may see better results with the AHA + BHA peeling solution as this is stronger but has many other acids in it rather than just the glycolic acid. If for any reason you were not able to use the peeling solution then using the glycolic acid toner will be great as well!! I would also start using a retinol or retinoid as well🥰

I'm subscribed to your KZbin channel and your Instagram account. I really like your videos on using the Ordinary products. I just started using them at the age of 66! I love their products but have never tried the Amino Acids + B5. I think I would love it, too, as my older skin tends to be dry. I may start using the Amino Acid + B5 now that I know it is good for moisture. But would love to win one! So I’m thinking of buying these things but I don’t know the things I shouldn’t and what I should use Bc my skins really bad but I need help with steps for using each skincare do number one 1. Cleanser: cetaphil 2. Lotion: ceraVE 3.eyecream: ceraVE 4. Moisturizer cream: ceraVE so these are all the things and I don’t know the order they should be in while doing my skin care routine or if they are good skin care, also one more question if my skin begins to change and get better will I have to change to different skin care will the old skincare routine affect my better skin if I keep using it?

Hey there! I am not crazy about Cetaphil to be completely honest, I would use the Cerave cleanser instead and go with either the foaming cleanser or hydrating cleanser. A.M. 1. Cerave cleanser 2. Eye Cream 3. Cerave Lotion 4. SPF (of your choice) P.M. 1. Cerave Cleanser 2. Eye Cream 3. Cerave Moisturizing cream (as this is thicker than the lotion) If your skin gets better you still want to continue with this routine or with any routine for that matter as whatever you are using is working for your skin so keep doing what you are doing...

I do have a morning anti-aging routine with the Ordinary: kzbin.info/www/bejne/h5C0nH-VoMaJers (please note I don't use the Witch Hazel toner anymore which is featured in that video) Yes you can use the lactic acid every night (as long as your skin can tolerate to it every night) and it can be used with the products mentioned in this video minus the retinol..
