Consecrated hosts were dropped at 2 hrs 59 minutes 45 seconds and were picked up with zero reverence, and no additional care was taken to not step on any crumbs. A purificator over the spot should have been placed. Let us pray for reparation of that sacrilege. Jesus, forgive them for they know not what they did. 🙏😞🙏

Poor training. All those priests, deacons, episcopal master of ceremonies & no one knew what to do? A dry purificator won’t do much but someone should have looked closely for fragments.

@susanwitkowski9411 agree about what proper cleanup would have been, but a purificator might have avoided further trampling on Sacred crumbs

​@Nomen.7777 start watching at 2 hrs 59 minutes. Left front of the altar as the MC hands off the vessels. Then you see him and a girl bending down to pick the hosts up. He thought he had them all, then a girl walking from left of screen picks one more up and drops it in the vessel without breaking stride😢😢

Isn't this the diocese that spent millions to build a beautiful cathdral a few years ago? Why didn't they have this sacred litugy there. Looks like plenty of empty seats at this venue.

God bless Bishop Beckman in his ministry. SN: I really hate the narration during these sacred events. I understand the purpose, but it always feels like they are talking at the wrong time.

Abbots that are not consecrated Bishops CAN NOT participate in an Episcopal Consecration since they themselves are NOT Bishops.

most abbots arent but some are...did you do any research

All Abbots hold the office of the episcopate, something which isn't really known well, before Vatican II it wasn't uncommon for an Abbot to wear a Mitre and carry a Crozier. This tradition has become less common, although it is still legitimate. Moreover, that is why there are three co-consecrators, just in case one of them wasn't legitimately ordained they are still ensuring the ordination is valid.

@@joeschachle9083 sort of, they hold ordinary jurisdiction for their community, but are not always consecrated as a bishop. if not consecrated they are not properly speaking a bishop, and when they are no longer holding the position of abbot no longer have the ordinary authority. I would wager that these abbots are consecrated though I do not know for sure.

lol there were a million more things than just that, beyond the innumerable violations of sacrosanctum concillium and musicam sacram, both conciliar era liturgical documents, there are also dozens of violations of the USCCBs own 2007 document Sing to the Lord its frankly disgraceful
