This was so lovely and human. The vulnerability and longing is really well played. Kudos to all involved.

Hey there! Yesterday I watched this short film in Kyiv, Ukraine. It was one of the movies in the “Short Films about Love” series. This film was the best, with tremendous actors by work of with I was blown away. I was in there with our main hero throughout all time and saw how this experience and unfamiliar interactions changed him (even though he didn’t neglect his princpiles) Huge thank you to the director and all crew working on this masterpiece.

The constant cracking one-liners here are hilarious. John is so open and vulnerable: from the first scene, I'm screaming "get out, get out!". Best post-credits line ever: "Great. You're in the right place." Oh yes. Great film.

@@sambaron Thanks for sharing. May I ask how you came up with the idea for this story and characters? Is it partly based on personal experience?
@leif1075 Жыл бұрын
@@sambaron Aww and how come it doesn't end with him having sex and feeling comfortable at the orgy..don't you want him to be satisfied? Or you don't feel that would have been as believable or in character for him at that moment? Hope to hear from you?

At the end of the day, this exercise teaches us that, in many cases, looking trippy in public isn’t as bad as we believe. Sure, we might get some looks and giggles, but these don’t hurt, now do they? The Cynic philosopher Diogenes of Sinope used to sleep in a barrel on the streets, walking around in ragged clothes, ‘pleasured’ himself in public, and tripped balls with people who walked past him. He fucked what people thought of him. Therefore, no one was able to hurt him.

It would be amazing to add English subtitles, as it is not my native tongue (the one add is German I think)

This would literally be me at one. Nervous. Uncomfortable of being naked around others. And being the only one not getting in on anything. Just being in the middle. Missing out.
