From the first time I listened to this song, it became my favorite song of all time. Every note, every word, became part of my soul. The funny part is that I didn't even speak English at the time. When I was able to understand the lyrics, I knew it belonged in my soul. Desde la primera vez que escuché esta canción, se convirtió en mi canción favorita de todos los tiempos. Elefante was not part of the band until 1981. I am not downplaying his singing, but he has no part in the conversation about the origins of a song that was recorded in 1977.

He wasn't the best, and I love Fight Fire With Fire and Vinyl Confessions. He was the best for that short period. But Steve's voice was and always will be the best. John's other band, Mastadon, was awesome. tho.
