I always thought the Seminole Indian was a Native American tribe. Interesting that is not the case. Appreciate the edification I get from all your videos Shalom King🙏🏾

The Seminole is coalition of different tribes that sought asylum in what was known as Spanish Florida. King Charles II signed the Edict of 1693 granting freedom to anyone who adopted the Christian faith and fought for the Spaniards. Seminole is just a word given to them by the Spanish which derived from the word cimmaron (maroon). My great grandfather was apart of the Five Civilized Tribes. Black and red was created by the white settlers to cause division. Divide and conquer!

1. My dad said his grandmother on mothers side was a Black seminole indian, spoke no english, we from pensacola florida, whole family still here to this day. Always wondered why our whole family are FSU fans.
