I don’t know why they didn’t bring back the Hardcore Title for the WWECW show in 2006, as the mid card title for that show.

3:58 The way that “WWE” is written on the piece of tape on the top-left is written differently than it is on the 2006 belt 4:09. Considering that the “WWE” came into existence in May 2002 and that the title was combined with the Intercontinental title in August of the same year, the WWE name wasn’t on it very long. If it was gifted to Foley in 2003 and he had it until 2006, which is when it looks different. Also, if Foley’s son wanted to “fix the belt,” he would’ve had to remove the duct tape. So, after my investigation, I have come to conclusion that Mick Foley’s son messed with the belt sometime between 2003 and 2006. 🙂

The comparison of the hardcore title and the 24/7 title need to stop. The 24/7 title didn't work because it had nothing to do with a hardcore match. It was something to get people on tv and give the company more promotion by having celebrities hold it.

It was a way to get wrestlers with little to no screen time a chance to get screen time and hold a Title. Even if that Title was not as big with the fans as they hoped The Wrestling fandom and any fandom in general is so good at twisting everything to make everyone else the bad guy when they get exactly what they asked for. People wanted lesser knowns to be pushed but didn't want to support them when they did and then they complained when they got buried because of lack of support. There's literally no pleasing the fandom

@@Spike-ex5bp I agree that there is no pleasing the Fandom. However, fans wanted the hardcore title to come back, and they instead made a new title that involved roll-up finishes instead of hardcore matches.

The hardcore belt was not the belt that perfect smashed up

You do realize that the "duct tape" on the belt is not real?? Ever notice how it NEVER peels or looks like it's about to come off?? It's all part of the design just like the "Broken" plates aren't actually broken.

Its real duct tape one if the belt makers for njpw and aew belts by dan is selling the original piece of duct tape from the belt they just replaced it whenever it fell off

It looks just like the smashed Winged Eagle belt that Mr Perfect destroyed it with the hammer. I wish this theory was real, but WWE keeps on debunking that.
