The Origin Story Of Ten Mahavidyas
The story about the origin of Dasa Mahavidhya goes like this. Sati, the wife of Shiva was the daughter of Daksha Prajapati, a descendant of Brahma. Sati had married Shiva against the wishes of her father. The vain Daksha performed a great yagya with the sole aim of insulting Shiva, to which he invited all of the gods and goddesses except his son-in-law, Lord Shiva.
Sati learned about her father’s yajna from Narad Muni. She asked Shiva’s permission to attend the yajna, saying that a daughter did not need an invitation from her father. Shiva said that Daksha was trying to insult him, and so even if Sati attended the yajna, the fruit of the sacrifice would not be auspicious. Therefore, he advised Sati not to attend the yajna.
Sati became furious - She thought that Shiva was treating her like an ignorant woman and not as the mother of the Universe. So to show Shiva who she really was, she assumed a different form - the one of the Divine Mother. The oceans raged, the mountains shook, and the atmosphere was filled with the wonder of her form.
Shiva began to shake and tried to flee. But in every direction that he tried to escape, the Divine mother stopped him. The Divine Mother had multiplied herself into ten different forms, guarding each of the ten directions, the 4 cardinal directions, the 4 ordinal directions, above and below and no matter how Shiva tried, he could not escape from her, as she had blocked every escape route.
These ten forms of Divine Mother are known as the Das Mahavidyas. Each form has its own name, story, quality, and mantras.
The Das Mahavidyas are Wisdom Goddesses. Das means ten, maha means great, and vidya means wisdom. The Das Mahavidyas are considered forms of Divine Mother Kali, who is the first of the ten Mahavidyas.
The Das Mahavidyas are:
Kālī (Sanskrit: काली), Bagalāmukhī (Sanskrit: बगलामुखी), Chinnamastā (Sanskrit: छिन्नमस्ता) , Bhuvaneśvarī (Sanskrit: भुवनेश्वरी), Mātaṃgī (Sanskrit: मातंगी), Ṣodaśī (Sanskrit: षोडशी), Dhūmāvatī (Sanskrit: धूमावती), Tripurasundarī (Sanskrit: रिपुरसुन्दरी), Tārā (Sanskrit: तारा), Bhairavī (Sanskrit: भैरवी)

The dashamahavidyas are - kali, tara, shodashi, bhuvaneshwari, bhairavi, chhinnamasta, dhumavati, bagalamukhi, matangi and kamala, in this sequence. Bhairavi's full name is tripura bhairavi, shodashi's other names are tripura sundari and lalitha, and kamala's full name is kamalatmika, also known as maha lakshmi. Kamala is not Tripura sundari, although all of them are 10 forms of the same adi parashakti, they show different aspects of the same goddess

Mahavidyas are beyond Trinities. So Satī isn't the cause of Mahāvidyā but she expressed her primodial forms. Kali is the cause of all Mahāvidyā, sati being her complete manifestation, expressed the forms. Kali is the cause of the Trinities

The first Mahavidya, Devī Dakṣiṇa Kālī is not the slayer of Caṇḍa, Muṇḍa, or Raktabīja. She is none other than the other side of Lalitā. She is Parashakti. She is saumya. Her form is vicious but she is saumya. The only demon Dakṣiṇa Kālī slayed was Ghōra Daitya according to the Yōginī Tantra. Dēvī Cāmuṇḍā slayed Caṇḍa, Muṇḍa, and Raktabīja, and was called "Kālikā" due to her black color in the Durgā Saptaśatī. She is a different form than Dēvī Dakṣiṇa Kālī for she is the cosmic mother and is not a form of anyone. Ruru Asura was not the son of Durgamāsura. It is vice-versa. Durgamāsura was the son of Ruru. Dēvī Bagalāmukhī sliced the tounge of Madanāsura at the time of Kṛta (Satya Yuga) when he caused a disturbance with his words after obtaining a boon from Brahmā. Bhūdēvī is not Bhuvanēśvarī. Bhuvanēśvarī is Śivā Dēvī. Bhūdēvī was created from the remnants of the corpses of Madhu and Kaitabha, slayed by Mahākālī-Svarūpā Yōganidrā through Viṣṇu Dēva and is his wife. Dēvī Kamalā is not a form of Śrīdēvī Lakṣmī. She is Lakṣmī. The origin of Dēvī Kamalā was when she was born to Ṛṣi Bhṛgu and Dēvī Khyāti as their daughter. She was like a lotus and got the name "Kamalā", When she turned 16, Ṛṣi Bhṛgu married her with Śrī Hari Nārāyaṇa. Dēvī Mahāvidyā Ugra Tārā does not hold a bell. She is either holding a pair of scissors or a shorter dagger. Please portray the characters correctly.

I never said she is not of Sri Vidya. And Devi Kamaltmika is the Tantric Lakshmi. She is not Mangal Chandika and Kamalekamini. Devi Kamalekamini is Sri Mangal Chandi as per the Chandi Mangal Kavya. Devi Kamala is the 16 year old daughter of Rishi Bhrigu because after the creation of Lakshmi by Devi Mahalakshmi (per the Pradhanik Rahasya), she appeared on the Earth as the daughter of Rishi Bhrigu, Devi Kavya, and the sister of Shukracharya and upon reaching the age of 16, she was married to Shri Hari Narayan. This signifies the equality of Shakti and Lakshmi Tatwa.

Devi Kamakshi is when she is folded her legs and Devi Rajeshwari is when she is seated on Panchavakra and Panchabrahmasan whole being fanned by Sri Devi and Vidya Devi. They are also referred to as Tripurasundari. The term "Tripurasundari" is an umbrella term which applies to many deities and their various positions and even forms.

The order of the Ten goddesses is currently Bhuvanishvari, Dhumavati, Matangi, Shodassi, Tarah, Bhagala, Chinnamasta, Kamala, Tripurah Bhairaviih, Maha-Kali. This is the order for a Ten Month calendar, beginning at Yule; the Five extra days right before that. The best for us is a 13 month calendar, like the Celtic, I believe; what is interesting about a Ten Month calendar is that the attribution of 36 days each month is best thought of as being of the Primal World; for 30 or 28 day months, of the Archetypical rather. The Zodiac order Sagittarius through Scorpio is actually the Primal World order, and thus better for cycles of 12 years, something larger than 30 days. Same for the 13 oghams- the standard order originates from an aeon in which human awareness was more attuned with the Primal World. To attribute the Ten Mahavidyas with the zodiac calendar, the order should include months Purusha and Shakti, inserted between the 8th and 9th of the Ten aforementioned; Shakti, between the 4th and the 5th. In that case however, Sagittarius would be Purusha, Capricorn Tripuraah Bhairavi, Aquarius Maha-Kali, Pisces Bhuvaneshvari, etc.... a Shakti month is then Cancer. In our race lineage I believe these Ten were known; in Cymric or before... On such calendar of Ten, this current would be Tripurah Bhairavi. It is technically not Hinduism, one of the Parenter Type religions, as also neither the Kama Sutra, Vaishnavaite sect, nor Tantra sex religion are correctly attributed as Hindu- being of the same region, both have the same Wisdom divinity, which I believe for India is Nudimud, Nemed or Sir'za...

Just an advice I would like to give that in English we pronounce hindi words as ' aa ' like in hindi the word is कर्म, the correct pronunciation is karma (as in English we don't have half letter and full letter as we have in Hindi) while in English we prononce it as Karmaa which is कर्मा, this creates misconception to the foreigners who are watching this video. So, what I'm saying is please try to pronounce the hindi words like we do in hindi, it's a problem with foreigners ( as they don't know we have complete and half letters in hindi) so let them know the correct pronunciation of the Hindi words by your media😊😊😊😊😊🙏🏻🙏🏻 Again, it's no offense, and I'm sorry if it went in the wrong sense!!!!

But in the original Sanskrit the short 'a' sound at the end of words is pronounced. So it's Raama Krishna (short a sound at the end). This is why they add an a at the end of Indian words while writing them in English. But people don't know this and pronounce the short a sound as aa.

Sati sacrifices herself and distraught Shiva is carrying her body and her body is divided by Vishnu's sudarshan chakra and they form the shaktipeeth. Shodashi, tripura sundari and Lalitha are same.
